I'm sure you'll enjoy the Yeti. I just got my Dura-C from Janty today and it is awesome. I got some banana cartridges and strawberry e-juice and topped off the cart and it's been like vaping a smoothie all afternoon! I didn't think I'd go for the fruity flavors, but I've got to say it is pretty good!

Thanks everyone! Just ordered my first ecig, a Yeti 510. I didn't realize the USB passthrough was also a battery, so I may well get that in the future, but for now I want to make sure I like vaping enough to continue. Same for extra batts; I'm usually near an outlet, but if I find that the two don't cut it, I'll get another, or build one of those portable battery packs I read about in the DIY section.

Can't wait to try it, and it's great to have the support of the community.

Thanks for the input! What model did you start with, ohionana?

From what I've read here, the 510 is a popular model, but its charge runs out quickly. What's the best way to deal with that? A passthrough would be nice, but even w/o the actual smoke, I'd probably not vape indoors much; I presently live w/ people who'd not appreciate it, and when I'm at school, I love going outside anyway. Plus, I don't want any excuses to become more of a nicotine fiend than I already am.

Buy a spare battery with your initial kit. About 12-15 bucks more. Three batts in rotation and you won't ever worry about it.

It will take a couple of hours to absorb all the material, but you will be so much more educated on ecigs and in a position to make an informed decision. I think most folks that have a rough time starting out do so because they didn't slow down and take some time to inform themselves.

Arrived today! Seems to be working well, and I enjoy it. The vapor really reminds me of a hookah, actually, with its cooler, cleaner smoke. Meaning it would be great to try some non-tobacco flavored juices or mixes. Mixed berry was always great for the hookah, as was lemon, but I haven't seen those as juice anywhere. I'll have to look around. For now, I've only tried the MLB that came with it; I also have some Camel & 555 juice. Now I'll just have to see whether this can actually take the place of real tobacco!
