Hey there, I'm a sort of newb to vaping, tried a buddy's PVs a few times, bought a disappointing disposable (Vapur brand) before a Less Than Jake concert (died in less than 24 hours no throat hit, minimal vapor, and it costed $12, only upside was it had a great flavor), as of 2 weeks ago I have my own ego kit (Vision Spinner battery, 2 Aspire BDC clearomizers and I have an ego-c Twist coming from fasttech). Just thought I'd introduce myself.

Yes, I found it was worth investing in better devices for vaping. I started the same way and was disappointed to the point I gave up and when back to smoking. After I purchased the itaste vv I knew I might be able to do it. Just started vaping full time last week and so far so good. I wish you success and congrats on the new vaping gear!!!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I have been using juice from these local suppliers VaporJedi (Giggidy 12mg and SweetyTart 18mg I mix the 2 tastes exactly like Wildberry Peach nerds) and DSVcreations (Gummy Bottles 12mg) and have been loving it. I have some Dekang OEM Red Bull medium nicotine (16mg) juice coming from Fasttech as well ($4 for 50ml I couldn't pass it up).

Welcome to the forum! There's loads of great people and info here. I still struggle with death sticks when drinking or that other thing you mentioned, but having a proper setup and flavors that I enjoy makes it much easier.
I would have started vaping years ago if I had had a proper introduction to it, rather than those damn cigalikes.

I really think disposables are a terrible way for someone to try vaping, if it was my first attempt I would still be smoking cheap menthols right now

For some people, they really are a terrible, off putting way to start. For others, it gives them the idea that vaping COULD work. Depends on the person. Really, I'm about to offer to buy them for my sister and keep her supplied with them. She's really pretty bad about loosing her vape gear and she's even worse about maintaining it. She vapes when all her stuff is working and she can find it, but the moment she runs into an issue she goes out bumming for cigarettes on her college campus. It's really too easy for her to smoke.... The next easiest thing for her would be disposables, and she's not the only one like that. For some people, ease of use is paramount to all else. I just sent her my Petal MVP 2 along with an Aspire BDC ETS a 5 pack of coils for that, and an iClear 30b with replacement coils for that. She'll be good for around a month, and then I predict she'll loose her set up or she'll be out of coils. If she does as I predict, I'll be pointing her to White Cloud Flings I think. They can last me at least half a day consistently, so I think they'd make it through a day or more for her.

Some people will not buy juice from Fasttech as they are Chinese. You turn the juice into vapor and suck it into your lungs and with the Chinese reputation for quality control Many do not feel safe about what might be in the juice.

Get it from a reputable Canadian dealer. Juice is made of PG (propylene glycol), VG (vegetable glycerin), flavoring, and maybe water with some optional nicotine. All of these can be derived form organic sources and, in the US I am not sure aboot Canada, the VG and PG can be USP, US pharmaceutical grade. The flavorings should be food grade and the nicotine is also intended for human consumption.

Well welcome to ecf and the wonderful world of vaping. Sounds like you are off to a good start and I look forward to reading about your continued success and what all you get next. It is quite addicting. :)

I chain vape until I get sick, then I charge the battery a bit and when I feel less dizzy im right back on it hahah
