Figured I'd pop in and say Hi. Heh.

Names Phil and I've been tobacco free for about 4-6 months now.
Started with those Blu E-cig things.. Which then went to some cheap eGo type setup to my Aspire Atlantis/Aspire Sub-ohm setup..

Honestly I love this, I can breathe again! Lol
Seriously though It's been a life saver, I wasn't a heavy smoker for too long but it was bad enough..

It's really become my new hobby and its better for me, so hell that works in my books. Lol.
I'm actually looking around for a new mod and a rda or two to start rebuilding.
Been studying Ohm's Laws and about batteries and such pretty heavy. Also have alot of sites bookmarked on the topic.. Alot. Lol.

Think I'm ready to let my creative juices flow and take that next step.

Anyway, if you actually read all that, thanks. Hahah.
Hope to become a part of this community soon enough and start really enjoying vaping.

Hows it going iMAGiNExEvO. Going sub ohm !!?. Don't forget to lower your Nicotine MG's !. Can't stress that enough. Nothing worse than a nicotine hit that totally takes your breath away, literally !. Seriously, depending on your setup you need to consider how much nicotine per mil your using if you're blowing clouds. Obviously a cigalike requires 45mg. An ego set up should be about 36mg. Even a 15 watt device still requires 36mg in some cases. Maybe it's just me, maybe those examples are a little high, but it's what i did, and still do with my 15w devices. As it is i'm vaping about 0.8ohm's and using 24mg, and i know that is still far too high. I should be doing something like 18mg or even 9mg, but i used to hit the tobacco seriously hard when i smoked, won't go into details. As it is i am vaping at 0.8 at 20w with 24mg.

The examples i gave were my personal preferences at the time. Obviously 45mg is insane, 36mg is also mental. Even 24 mg is a little crazy and i wouldn't recommend these levels of nicotine to anyone, but it is what i used to vape and i know most people don't go anywhere near that much nicotine. Giant clouds though !, really needs to be 3mg or none at all.

Personally i do have a problem with addiction. This is something i am trying to overcome. I won't use mechs !. So it's a matter of time for the industry to provide people like me with tanks that can enable a multiple coil rba deck that is integrated within a tank, that's really what i need. At the moment i am using a subtank mini, which i love by the way. Until i can build a dual coil or even three or four coils within a tank setup then i really can't reduce my nicotine level, the genesis style tanks simply don't work for me !. I still use a Provari v2.5 with a Protank II, but i also use a Vamo V7 with a subohm coil. The Provari setup is 36mg whilst the Subtank setup is 24mg.

The Kanger Subtank and Subtank Mini both can run dual coils on their RBA decks, but I'm sure you've heard everyone raving about them? Or you can go with the great factory occ coils. I've been vaping post 2 years and can't imagine better tanks than these. I've gone through at least 25 different types of tanks before I found these.

Hi Phil, Welcome to ECF. I'm glad you discovered the pleasures of SubOhm vaping. I misplaced my iStick and Subtank a few weeks back and had to vape with my Spinners and Aerotanks until the new order arrived. It was hell
Once you've settled into the community, please check out CASAA, which is a non-profit organization that advocates vaping. Many states are fixing to bring in taxes, regulations, and in some cases try to limit sales of eliquid and ecigarettes. CASAA is asking all vapers to sign the form letters to our representatives that they provide, and it only takes a minute to help out.

Yeah I've been vaping with like.. 18mg usually but do sometimes dip down to 12mg and such depending on the juice.
Actually.. I know all about addiction.. Alcoholic for 5 years.. Been sober for coming up on one year(!). Lol anyway it's not easy, but all we can do is take it one day at atime.
