tobacco Cigarettes are Known to cause cancer.

What other motivation do you need??

Do you avoid buying cars with Airbags because you might get a Rash from the powder the bag is stored in??

But in all seriousness, the very minor side effects associated with Ecigs all pretty much pass within a few weeks or so. The sore throat, just drink more water. You'll need to anyway because the PG/VG actually dehydrates you a little.
Most of the side effects associated with Ecigs, are actually caused by NOT smoking tobacco anymore. Not really caused by the Ecigs directly. And they will pass.

want2, drink lots of water when you vape. Propylene Glycol tends to dry your throat and mouth out a little. There's nothing dangerous about it. Some people are allergic to PG. It's pretty rare but not at all unheard of. If you believe this to be the case you can get juice for your 510 with only vegetable glycerin (VG) in it.
Remember, vaping doesn't MAKE you quit but it makes it a load easier.
You still have to want2stop. :)

Agreed. I had the shakes for a couple of days due to coming down from additives. Nothing bad at all really. Now it doesn't bother me. If you want to replace analogs with ecigs you should really sign the petition that's floating around in these forums. It's starting to look like these may be banned due to corrupt politicians that want tobacco money, and others who want drug company money.

I got my e-Cig two weeks ago, and for the first week I found myself Needing an analog once in a while, I was smoking about two to three analogs a day (that’s not bad since a smoked a pack a day before e-cigs) and now I can happily say that I haven’t even had the urge to smoke for a week, I guess it just takes some getting used to and it does help alot to find the right e-juice for you.

I'll echo most of the comments above, the side effects go away as you finally break the cig habbit. Drink water and find some liquid that really works for you. After the initial output it is also much cheaper. No yellow teath, no foul breath, no ashes all over, you don't smell like smokes anymore, you pay less taxes, your lungs will feel better, your taste and sense of smell will improve, your circulation will improve. (Which is good for all kinds of reasons). There are many other reasons as well but this is a good start.

So many benefits....

It seems a lot of people get a defeated attitude if they smoke an analog once in a while while they transition dont feel that way.

My GF feels like a loser if she has a regular smoke, even is the vapes and skips 19 cigs that day, the one or 2 she did smoke makes her dejected... dont be that way.

Every cig you dont smoke, whether you vape or not, is a step to freedom. Just skip more smokes than you smoke, and always try to improve. IMHO

You just described my exact experience.

Yeah I had a sore throat but no worse than a cold and it lasted 2 or 3 days cos i wasn't drinking enough fluid. I only had it that once, right when I started vaping but it wasn't enough to deter me (couldn't have smoked with it anyway lol). Never had it since, and drink a lot more nowadays. I'd rather have a sore throat evey month than the wheezing hacking cough I used to have that woke me up during the night.

Agree I started late Nov. of 09. I still occasionally smoke an analog when I have had a few beers(like 2 a week) versus a 30 a day habit. I'm happy with that :)
