So I have quite a few ego batteries from janty that I bought a few years ago (stopped vaping since the tank system, the neo+ system were utter garbage), and recently bought the aspire nautilus and a aspire bvc clearo, boy did the ecigarette world has changes since I last vaped!
so whats next? the aspire BVC is amazing on an ego passthrough, the nautilus needs a bit more volts tbh.
but now I want to upgrade, maybe build my own coils. Would a 91% russian kayfun + vamo v6 be a good choice? or should I buy a nemesis clone and something to go with it? just want to future proof myself, and be able to build a nice set, with very good vapor production.
probably gonna order from fasttech.com because their prices are amazing (not sure about the VAT since I'm from europe).

My advice. Get a good mechanical mod, nemesis, panzer, stingray, caravela, etc. Than, buy a good rda, magma, plumeveil, mephesto, tugboat, zenith v2. Than, buy a bag of organic unbleached cotton balls, a spool of 28 and 26 gauge kanthal wire, and couple of good 30 amp batteries, Sony vtc4/vtc5. And a good dual bay charger, Nitecore Intellicharger. And if you don't have a digital multimeter, than I would buy an ohm meter as well to check your resistances. All of these items plus more can be found at eciggity.com. And you can have all of this for under $100.00. You will be extremely satisfied, and will have a lot of fun along the way. Put a simple micro coil build on your rda, wick some cotton through it, check your resistance, chuck it on your mech mod, throw in a freshly charged 30 amp battery, and prepare yourself for in your face satisfaction.

Now, if you don't want to get into rebuilding here is my other suggestion. For under 50 bucks, you can buy an eLeaf iStick, which is a legit 20 watt vw device. It has a 2200 mah battery with passthrough, and half the size of the mvp v2. It is stylish, tiny, performs like a beast, and cheaper than dirt. Throw on a mini nautilus with a new bvc head, and enjoy.

I hope you consider my advice, as I am positive either of these options will yield great results. I have been vaping for close to 2 years now, and have tried / built it all.
These are by far the best and most cost effective setups to date.

I second this, started with a glorified eGo and tank and made the switch to mech/RDA. Best decision of my vaping life.

thank you very much for the reply! the rebuilding part looks like fun :)
just a few quick questions : can I still use my BVC clearos and my nautilus on a mech mod?
and is the fasttech shop any good? or is there another place for buying everything you listed?

Well, you can use a Nautlius on a mech mod as it has a 510 connections, and you can use ego type clearo's with an adapter. BUT, you will not be happy with the performance at all. These types of tanks are much better suited for a variable voltage / wattage device. Like I said, the eLeaf iStick is a 20 watt device with a 2200mah battery which can easily get you through a day or two. Plus it has passthrough charging for ease of use without needing to take out batteries and separately charge them. Or as someone else mentioned a DNA 30, but that requires the use of an 18650 battery, which will need its own stand alone charger, and is much more expensive.

It is all up to you. Like I said, if you wanna get blown away with flavor, go with my option A and never look back. If you wanna warm up and continue your research before jumping into rebuildables, go with my option B. A mini Nautlilus with the vertical coil heads are great for flavor, they last a few weeks and are very easy to use and basically maintenance free. But like I said, those are much better suited for a regulated device. At least a 20 watt device for your Nautilus though if you are running the new vertical coil heads.

As far as Fast-tech, I can not speak for myself on that as I don't have the patience for shipping waits, and have other sites that I can go through for products that ship much faster and tend to have better manufactured products. But I do know a lot of people have success with Fast-tech, so I have nothing negative to say about them. I notice you are from Lithuania, so this may be your best option.

Good luck on your journey, it can seem very overwhelming with the constant flooding of products. But it will all make sense to you soon, and you will quickly realize how simple it all really is.

Yes you can, but they may need more voltage.
If so you can get a kick module for the mech.

fasttech is in china and they send you stuff through the mail, so it takes some weeks to arrive. plus your location will affect delivery.

I've got about 6 shipments I'm still waiting for; well i've just about given up on the one from january buy they (ft) refunded me on that one after 9 months.

Seems like you guys really like box mods, are they really that much superior to regular batteries? I don't like the look of a box mod :/
in regards to 18650 batteries, I have quite a few of them, that I'm using for very high power lasers.
Apparently I wan't something in the middle, a mod that I can use my 18650's, control the wattage/voltage, and be able to use it on both rda's and pre builds like the nautilus.
ATM I'm really in love with the aspire BVC clearo that I got for about 8$, the flavor and vapor is actually much better than the nautilus with a bvc, probably because a ego battery can't handle it.
I think the main reason that I'm so hesitant to jump straight into rda's is the reliability and convenience, because I really want a hassle free experience. fill it up with juice, charge the battery and vape away all day wile I'm out and about. I can't stand leaks or dripping... At this point it looks like I just need to push more power through the nautilus to get what I wan't . But I wan't to believe that rda is the future :)

If you want to stay with vv/vw and standard clearomisers go for the eLeaf iStick great battery life good power range but a bugger to get one at the moment as they are selling like hot cakes.

I use one with a dbox puritank (similar to a kanger protank) I rebuild my own micro coils and wick with japanese cotton. cracking vape in my opinion

1: A box mod usually contains 1 or more regular 18650 batteries.
2: The common 18650 mods - vamo svd sid and many no brand vv/vw mods - use 18650's, control wattage/voltage, and are able to use with both rda's and prebuilds like the nautilus.
3: An rda is a very simple device. Squirt some juice in it, and vape for 10 minutes to an hour depending on the size. It's not a tank so you don't have the kind of leak problem you can have with a tank; on the other hand if you put juice in it and don't vape it, you can't just stick it in your pocket upside down.

with cigarettes, you take out a pack and a lighter and light up 1 cigarette, smoke for 5 or 10 minutes, put the stub out.
with an rda, you take out a juice needle bottle and pv, and squirt some in the rda, vape for 5 or 10 minutes, put back in pocket.

4: You need a 18650 regulated mod to be able to adjust for the wide assortment of options.

guys what do you think about the joyetech evic supreme? I found a local listing for about 90$, should I go for it? I guess it goes up to 30w and supports down to 0.5ohms, so I would be able to use rda's with it?

Joytech is a reputable manufacturer.

You can use rda's with anything.

Thank you guys for all the replies! I think I'll get the evic supreme tomorrow, and I'll post back here to share my thoughts on it with the nautilus/aspire bdc. Maybe I'll try to build a micro coil for my nautilus :)

oh my GOD. the evic supreme is unreal. My nautilus tastes completely different! this thing is amazing. Though battery life ain't that great, doesn't last me a day :p
probably gonna try to rebuild my nautilus coil.
