Hello Everyone,

I just registered today as I made my 1st purchase yesterday after thankfully finding and reading this board! I bought an Ego that shipped today along with some misc. stuff. I have one question in particular that I`d like to ask, and that is, is the Ego a 510 unit, and do all 510 parts work with it as well?

Also, I bought a few sample juices, and it sounds like I`l need a lot more, as I am currently a heavy smoker. Is there a reliable PT for the Ego out there, as I`ve read people having problems with the PT?

I`m really excited about this, as I really need to stop smoking, and have done so in the past, always went back, and realize I just like it to darned much. So maybe vaping is the answer. I also look forward to being part of this community!

Been thinking of making a wall mod since I started vaping last Feb. Thought I might make one using a pouched pv battery, but haven't had one go on me yet and don't want to destroy a perfectly good one. I'll have to check out some mod threads for other ideas. Got all kinds of inverters to use.

The Ego is a 510 model with just a bigger batt. correct? When ordering attys I can just order the 510? Or does the Ego come with a LR ATTY that is specific for the Ego?

Yeah the ego/tornado uses 510 atomizers. LR attys are not specific to the eGo but you can use them for the ego

It's just a 510 with a much better battery. As for a PT try out a 5 volt from madvapes. It doesn't have the inline battery so you won't need to replace it. Plus madvapes has great liquids as well and fast, cheap shipping. Try the very berry and the fried apple. If you are still stuck on menthol or tobacco (like most of us were at first) they also have a great price on them.

The ego uses 510 atomizers & carts. The bats. last 8-16 hrs. i.e. 2 in 24 hrs., though you may use them faster in the beginning. No PT here & not needed.

I got great service from madvapes, but their juices just don't hit it with me. They taste like all dekang juices which for me are a bit harsh and all taste similar. Take a look at tasty vapor. And yes, all the 510 stuff will work with your ego. I love my eGo. You made a good first choice.
