Check the wrapping on the batteries that don't work. Sometimes they'll have an extra bit on either the positive or negative end that prevents it making a connection. If that's the case, you can cut off the excess with a craft knife. Just don't cut much off, because that can cause issues too.

Just make sure it's working too - put it in a mod that you know works and make sure the battery is good.

It's obvious that a stingray type top cap like the one above needs button top batteries to work;
A particular flattop battery might happen to work but that's just a fluke.

Now this one below will work with both button top and flat top:

I looked at the batterys and everything looks in good condition it loops like the top of the efest is a little lower than the Sony but the difference is slight and when pressing down on the battery top the excess on the efest moves down I also checked it in the other mod and it works great

Did you check the battery wrapping? The more you say, the more I think that's the issue. (This is still assuming the battery is a known good battery.

Mine is a like the one below it's not an original

Then you need to adjust the smaller screw to make contact with the top of the battery.

There's a reason why flashlight tubes and regular regulated tube mods come with a spring at the bottom
When you go for a bottom switch mech, it's a tradeoff with that spring; now you got no spring to make up for small millimeter differences between batteries; one solution is to use a telescopic mech; otherwise, you got to do some sort of adjustments with screws to make contact with the battery.

Your battery shouldn't be rattling/knocking around inside the tube otherwise you have poor electrical contact.
