ive tried doing the juice calculator and its not really helping but too much
i have flavor extracts, 100% pg, 100% vg, and 100 mg of nicotine (nicotine is pg based only)
how many ml would i need to make myself a pg/vg mixture of 70pg and 30vg
and how many ml would i need to make a 24mg and a 18mg
and my girlfriend uses 4mg of nicotine how many ml would i need to make hers also?
and my last question is how many ml would i need to put in using my flavor extracts?

sorry if my questions are bogus but i need some help

This is elementary percentages, especially given that there are a couple hundred e-juice calcs of the net.
At this point you should STOP and read a little bit instead relining on one tiime advise on the niternet.
Good on you for going DIY but dang take a minute to read for a minute.
It is all about feeding a man a meal or teaching him how to cook

Alright! I wish I could help you more but I don't deal with nicotine so I can't give you a full answer but here's how I do it without nicotine.
(using Easy DIY E-Liquid Calculator for mixing your own juice)

Let's say you want a 10 ml bottle of ejuice at 70%PG/30%VG at 10% flavor concentration(PG Based).
You put 6.0ml PG in a bottle, then put 3.0ml VG and lastly add 1.0ml of flavoring.

If you use the calculator I linked to make your nic ejuice, it's good to know if your flavoring is PG or VG based (FA has about 40% to 60% PG in it) and what's your nicotine strength. You mentioned you have 100mg of nicotine liquid but you didn't specify what's the strength.

Please note that the technique I mentioned above is for non-nic liquid, that mix would be drastically different with nicotine.
Also if you use drops instead of ml, make sure you calculate how many drops per ml your equipment produces. Personally I took a graded dropper and filled it to 0.5ml then calculated how many drops it produced, then doubled it. I did that multiple times to be as accurate as possible.

howdy! and welcome!

i tend to use the ejuicemeup calculator and my base mixes are generally 70% vg and 3mg nic

that being said, if you are using pg based nic and looking for a 70%pg end product then, some rough numbers would be (these are estimates based on 100% pg based flavorings)

for 18mg nic juice, 30ml bottle : 5.4 ml of 100mg nic, add flavors per recipe percentages, 9ml of vg and remaining volume would be pg...

for 24 mg nic juice, 30ml bottle : 6.3ml of 100mg nic, add flavors per recipe percentages, 9ml of vg and remaining volume would be pg...

for 4 mg nic juice, 30ml bottle : 1.2ml of 100mg nic, add flavors per recipe percentages, 9ml of vg and remaining volume would be pg...

as far as ml amounts of flavorings, that is going to depend on recipe you are using - (% x 30ml would give you the individual amounts) - this is where something like the ejuicemeup calculator comes in handy - plug in your nic base (100mg nic, 100% pg) and the desired end product pg/ vg ratio and nic level along with the flavors and percentages and it will give you a list of amounts to add to mix

Welcome!

Let me see if I can break this down for you.

For the 24mg juice, you'd need 2.4 ml of your 100mg/ml nic PER 10 mL end product. (I always think in 10ml increments, and then multiply to get my final bottle size.)

Now flavors. They're typically PG-based and recipes can run anywhere from a few percent to 25-30 percent to the final product. You'd need to know that to add the remaining PG and VG. Let's assume a 10% flavor recipe.

So, you're at 2.4 ml nic plus 1 ml flavorings (in whatever combo is called for by the recipe). That's 3.4 ml of 10ml total.

Then, you want 70pg/30vg. That means 70% of your total mix needs to be made up of all things PG. So, 70% of 10 ml is 7ml.

7ml - the 2.4ml nic and the 1ml flavorings leaves 3.6ml plain PG.

3ml of VG and you should be right there. If your recipe calls for more or less flavorings, adjust the plain PG to get to 7ml.

24mg/ml juice @ 70p/30V

2.4 ml Nic
x ml flavoring
7 - 2.4 -x plain PG
3 ml VG

The other nic levels follow a similar philosophy.

18mg/ml

1.8 ml Nic
x ml Flavors
7 - 1.8 - x plain PG
3ml VG

4mg/ml

0.4 ml Nic
x ml Flavors
7 - 0.4 -x plain PG
3ml VG

If you're making 30ml juice, multiply the above by 3 (30ml/10ml base ratios)

If you're making 50ml, multiply by 5 and so on....

Check out the DIY threads. They're good stuff.

@jessie cress

The benefits of using a calculator. Using steam engine which I personally never use, I got these results (I would also advise doing a calculator yourself and double check my results):

12ml of your base
20.1ml of PG
67.9ml of VG

BUT! This is for using NO flavors for a flavorless juice. But try it if you like. Some of us like it.

And by all means, check out the DIY Forum!

don't quite understand the math to do it.
Step back a moment and don't mix anything until you do understand the math. There are awesome videos on YouTube that put it in very simple to understand format, search for something like DIY ejuice for beginners. There's also a lot of different recipe websites, I use e-liquid-recipes. Good luck, have fun but be safe too.
