trying to understand mixing of PG & VG--if anyone could help with a simple question

My first post here, so if I am doing this wrong, stop me now and I will change what I need to.........

I have read and re-read the calculator instructions from "scatdan" & I am still unable to understand.
I have a 120 ml mixture of 80% PG & 20% VG, 24 mg per ml nic with a texas peach flavor.
I have a 120 ml bottle of 100% non-flavored VG.
When I mix all of this together I would have 240 ml of 12 mg per ml nic, but what would the percentages be on the PG & VG.
I would like the mix to be 50%PG & 50% VG , but then I would not know what the nic mg would be.
Is it becuase I am trying to make it too complicated that I can't see what the results would be?
Any help to get me on the right path would really be appreciated.
Thanks.

40% PG 60% VG if mixed as described

24 millileter of PG and 96 mill of VG added to your 120 MILLS of 80/20 24 mg nic would make it 50/50 12 mg

No offense to "Scatdan" but use ejuice ME UP calculator. Its the best DIY online calc app that exists.....Breaktru created it, its great

I am doing a google search for ejuicemeup right now. Thank you!

If you mixed both full bottles together you'd have 40% PG and 60% VG (96ml of PG and 144ml of VG).

If you want a 50/50 mix you should take 72ml of the 100% VG and add it to the PG/VG bottle; you'd have 192ml of 50/50 PG/VG @ 15mg nic I believe.

That is the solution I was looking for. Thanks for your help. I am still going to try to understand how to get that answer!

Which part? If you mean the nicotine, I just did thought about it like this:

The bottle that contains nicotine is 24mg per ml of liquid. There's 120 ml of liquid in the bottle. Thus:

24 x 120 = 2,880

There's a total of 2,880 mg of nicotine in the full bottle, ya? So if we added 72ml of 0-nic VG to this bottle (so that we would have 96ml PG and 96ml VG to hit our target 50/50 mix), we now have 192ml of liquid but the same 2,880mg of nicotine. Thus:

2,880 / 192 = 15

Heres how to enter info into EJUICE ME UP:

Top line (nic Strength e juice)= ENTER pg/vg ratio of ur nic and MG strength
Second line (Target Strength)= ENTER the MG strength of eliquid u are making
Third line (Amount to Make)= ENTER amount you are making, __mil
Water/Vodka/PGA (Adding any additives? Enter the percentage here if so__%

Flavor #1.....= ENTER the % u are using
Flavor #2....= ENTER the % u are using
Flavor #3.....= ENTER the % u are using
Flavor 4......= ENTER the % u are using

BOTTOM SECTION= change 50% PG 50% VG to the ratio u are creating

----> hit bottom right TAB "Calculate"

*****the exact amounts u need to the tenth of a millileter will now be revealed ( the amount of nic, pg, vg and each individual flavoring )
