Another new Vapor here. Just jumped ship on cigz after 15 years. (Pack a day, American Spirit) Hope there is room on the S.S. Vapor for me. Havent smoked in a month!! Holy .... thats awesome yes? Feelin the Vapor Vibe and loving every second of it.

After a month of vaping Ive been seeing what works and what doesnt.

I had starter kit. 2 ego 650 batteries. 2 standand noobie clearomizers.

Then I got a 1300mah twist (rainbow) and a steel 1500mah ego.
There holding up pretty good.
Just got a protank 3 and I hate it,
I think the threading on the base is messed up. My coils screw in crooked. Has anyone experienced this? Bummer! Other than that its pretty good. But Alas. It does not fulfill my ultimate vape fantasies.
I have just ordered the Aspire Nautilus and cant wait for that.
Also, from fastech, I got a nemisis clone and a genisis atty clone. Cant wait to make my own coils.

vaping at 18mg--- and Definatley feel like lowing it to 6 or 12 as I vape all day. ALL DAY.

Welcome to ECF. I have a PT 3 but don't have the issues you are experiencing with coils. Sounds like you have a quality control issue. Good luck on your journey.

thanks Storm! Pretty sure its a machining issue with the thread on the Protanks base. Therefore my coils cups are loosy goosy when going in. It thows the whole thing off....
Have you seen the youtube vid on Kangers Factory. Its a trip. I have done line factory work so Im not too mad, just got to get a new base.

for the nemisis clone Im getting the sony 18650 30 amp. I ordered them yesterday, so they will praububly hit my mailbox sometime mid April. Ha! Ill be posting with questions as I build coils as There is not a vapor shop in my city. Thanks

welcome!!!! of course there's room! my jump from 18 to 12 was fairly easy. 12 to 6? still fighting it! it makes a big difference... what I found works for now is mixing 12 and 6 to get the jooze to 9.

Hey when you go to buy a new base take a look around for an Aero base! It will fit on the PT3 and give you adjustable airflow. I just picked up an Aero tank and I really like the adaptability. Plus the base is sealed so it will prevent leaks into the 510 connection!
