Anyways, I remember a post from Angus or Elendil from a few weeks or so ago about a nightly maintenance window -- backups I think, and I dunno what else. That'll bog the database some.

ECF is already hosted on a dedicated server. I don't know the hardware specifics though.

Well, Alex the code guy was sick, so everything got stalled for a couple of weeks, but he is well now, so in a week or two the new CMS section should be up and running, that will take some of the pressure off of the forum. After that, they will be adding another server to the forum.

Management is very well aware of the problems, so it should be getting better soon.
