Hey so i put down the cigs and picked up my first vaporizer last saturday. I got the mvp itaste 2.0. With the i clear 30. I love it so far. But now i think my wicks or something are burnt out. Because my starting to get a burnt taste. How do i go about changing the heads? Or should i just buy a brand new iclear 30?

I had the iclear for a tiny bit the whole assembly with the wicks should just unscrew and you can buy replacements. Grats on dropping the stinkies

Also, might want to buy an evod, too. Check to see if you like top, or bottom coil. And why not throw in a cartomizer? It gets crazy at first, but the MVP is a fantastic first choice.
Your iClear 30 clearomizer will have "replaceable coil heads". There are at least three versions of the iClear 30, so after determining which version you have you can purchase replacement heads for it.
The original iClear 30 had large strings of wicks hanging freely from the top of the tank. A top dual-coil design.
iClear 30
The iClear 30S had a metal tube surround those strings wicks with multiple holes in the tube. Still a top dual-coil design. It uses a different replacement coil than the original iClear 30.

The iClear 30B is the third generation of iClear 30. It uses yet another type of replacement coil ( dual-bottom coil).

To be clear (pun not intended), the replacement coils for the three versions of iClear 30 are NOT intercompatible with one another. You can find how to replace the coils by doing a YouTube search once you know which tank you have.

Oh, and if you do get yourself a Kanger, check my blog - I posted a tutorial on how to rebuild the Kanger atomizers with a stainless steel wick. Goodbye burnt flavor. Also, the current atomizer I built has lasted me over 2 months so I haven't had that expense as well.

The coil is inside the replacement atomizer head.
The coil is wrapped around the wick.
Those white clothlike strings are the wicks.
The wicks are silica wicks.
Silica wicks do not burn.
Silica is the stuff of stone.
So what a good replaement tank the Kanger Protank 3? How easy are thos to rebuild? Is there any other good tanks out there? Looking for good vape and taste. Sorry hang in there with my guys i am new at this and dont know much about this at all.
Great brand in my opinion. I use the T3S, not the Protank. The Protank 3's have dual coil atomizers which are a little different from the T3S's single coil design I use so I would imagine those are a little more difficult to rebuild. Check into a Protank mini also.
With regard to rebuilding - it gets easier the more you do it and before you know it, you'll be making better coils than the ones that come with your atomizers in no time. You'll also save some moolah. You can also look into getting a coil rebuilding jig which would make the whole process easier I'd imagine but it's really not needed with a little patience.
It's my understanding that Innokin no longer makes replacement coil heads for the original iClear 30, but the coil heads for the iClear 16 clearomizers will work in the iClear 30 perfectly well.
My son & daughter both still use the original iClear 30 clearos. They use the above iClear 16 replacement coils in their iClear 30. I used to use them myself, but I prefer using cartotanks. I prefered the iClear 30 over the bottom coil clearos like the Kanger Protanks, Aspire Vivi Nova, and Kanger Evods and T3S. Your mileage may vary as everyone has their own personal preference.
