My advice to new forum members is always the same: go to CASAA.org and sign up for free, to get alerts when the government nannies are trying to take away our vapes, so you can do what you can when you can.
Agree 100% as that is good advice..... I am a member of CASAA and have been for a LONG time.... They are a good organization.

Also, I know what you mean about having to spend a lot starting out. I already spent around a tenth of my last paycheck on mods, pods, and liquid lol.

Yeah, it can get spendy especially if you are a popper like myself...... The thing that has helped me the most with vaping costs is creating my own juices..... It costs very little to make my own juice. Also it costs next to nothing to create my own coils for rebuildable tanks.... I just bought a new 200 watt mod a few days ago but I do not purchase mods very often.... I own several of them just in case one or two of them malfunction then I will always have a backup...... Every once in a while I will purchase a new RDA or RTA but I also do not do that very often..... The ones I have will last a life time and I see no need to own zillions of tanks and mods..... However, some people here constantly purchase mods and tanks.......... I mostly am a mid to high wattage vaper and so I burn through lots of juice (about 30ml per day) and so that is why I make my own juice.... I know lots of MTL vapers here who only burn through 4 or 5 ml per day and so they do not spend a lot on juice.....

I got myself a VooPoo Drag 4 yesterday and an Agies Boost LE. What I want is to have one device for BIG BIG clouds and the other one for my nic cravings. I'm too lazy to switch tanks and coils lol. So for those, I got a 6mg freebase and a 50mg salt nic. That's pretty much going to be what I'll use for the foreseeable future. Although I'll be spending a crap ton on liquids. Just want to find flavors that work for me.

Honestly tho, I don't think there are many places in Sri Lanka where I could buy anything I need to make my own liquids...

Yeah I am all over the board when it comes to vaping styles LOL..... Most of the time I am doing mid to high wattage but I also do low powered MTL..... I wouldn't consider myself to be a cloud chucker per say, but I do like to blow a decent amount of vapor.

Are you having trouble finding a flavor you like??

Yeah, that is too bad for sure :( If I couldn't mix my own juices then I would probably have to go stricly MTL because I burn through too much juice blowing lots of vapor.....I couldn't afford it if I had to purchase pre-made juice and vaping at anywhere from 40 to 100 watts.

I get you. Same problem for me. My Freebase juice is running out like CRAZY.
Flavor-wise, I really like anything mint or menthol. Even in my food. So I thought those flavors would be really good in juice form too, but the BLVK Cool Mint I got is GOD AWFUL. I wanna see if there is any mint/menthol/citrus flavors i like.

I understand ..... Yeah, for myself, I personally like strong flavors such as cinnamon or pineapple with sweetness added... There are lots of flavors that I can barely taste no matter how much flavor concentrate I add to my juice....... The stronger the flavoring then the less of it I need to add to my juices and then the farther the flavoring will stretch...... With cinnaom for example, I only have to add about 8% flavoring to my juice in order to get a nice strong flavored juice. But with some flavors like banana and most custards then I have to add anywhere from 15 to 25% flavoring in order to get a strong enough flavor to actually taste.

Menthol's, and mints are also very strong flavorings and do not require much to be added to a juice in order to get strong flavor... Unfortunately, I do not care much for menthol, or at least I didn't when I was younger.... I may have to give menthol flavoring a try though because it will stretch a long way.

Sure wish you could make your own juice there in Sri Lanka :(

I know. I'm gonna be here for a while because my wife is originally from here and we're visiting her parents. But I think I'll do some research into this when I have time. I might actually PM you for help

This has been my experience with random people here too. I had at least 5 people tell me to stop vaping to "avoid a world of pain and a huge medical bill" later in my life. Everyone defaults to "it's bad for you" when they don't know about anything.
You can't prevent the general population from being brainwashed. You have to remember, many of them get their daily news feed from Facebook...

Happy to hear you're away from the cigs! It's never too late to quite smoking unless you find yourself in a coffin with people throwing dirt on you.
