Well, hey back atcha, Joe. :toast:

Congrats on beating the analogs and welcome (officially) to the forum.

Nice bit of kit you have there - those kayfun style toppers are wicked, no? And good for you for jumping in the deep end of vaping so quickly.

Not to ruin your KF high, but you did mention Reos and, as a recent convert after riding the KF/mech bus for a while, I'm here to tell you to go for it. If you can handle a box mod (mostly an aesthetic thing), they're just a great little device that hits big.

As for online shopping, you're definitely better off in terms of price, but do continue to visit your local B&M to taste juice and gets some hands on with all the latest gear.

Vape strong, brother.

Hi congrats! If you get a DNA 20 or 30 your going to be in love they hit so much harder! my top 3 are the Opus-D, Vapor shark, & Hanna Mods. also the ZNA is pretty cool! If your building your own coils make sure you have a ohm reader and your batterys can handle what your building stay safe!!!!

Thanks guys and ya I'm a mechanic by trade so tinkering with stuff comes easily to me and ya papa the looks of the reos and tank like ability is what drew me to their site on the dna side it's mostly what I can find that available I've been looking at the dark star 30 but waiting to see what people say about it I'd prefer one I can use the batteries I have already

How did you learn about all this? I've been lurking too, but your knowledge trumps my "what's the best battery life on a disposable search?" :glare:
lots and lots of reading some things cross over from other parts of my life like rebuilding coil heads or making coils it's similar to wiring control boxes for hvac equipment just smaller and alot of the talk of quality mods and things of that nature I understand how some things are made from my other hobby of knife making and collecting although that's a seriously more expensive and time consuming hobby but just as you I tried disposables and cig a likes they just sucked IMHO so I tried to find a brick and mortar shop so I could talk to someone about real vaping options and that's what started all of this stuff and that was a whopping 3 and a half weeks ago :)

Sounds Like you been doing some lung inhales! Try getting into mechs! you can take as long a hit as you like man!
Ya I had to drill out the holes on everything I've used so far and as far as mechs that's another reason I was looking at the reos figure it would be good for that just trying to figure out the bottom feeder part at the moment

We are not there yet. Apparently that is the future. It depends on what your goal is.

"I think" that the best battery is a rechargeable battery. Just the battery. The $25 eGo Twist things with 800 mAhr is the same as a tube and an 18350 battery. The 18350 battery is $5 or $7 (for the good one). It is way cheaper. But then you need something to hold the batteries (like a Vamo or any other tube). And they are not that expensive.

I haven't had a rechargeable/disposible twist battery die on me yet, but I know they will. And you can't change the battery and the whole thing is no good. Get two or three twisty batteries and save some money vaping and then move up the ladder.

While equilavences are really hard, in my mind, a 800 mAhr battery should last any reasonable human being who works in a non-smoking environment a full work day of vaping. I used to smoke 2.5+ PAD and 800 mAhr lasts me all day (work and home). 2000 mAhr (18650) lasts me 3 days. I am sure my batteries will degrade. And I will vape more. Your results might vary. Off the record.

First of all, welcome. :) I grew up on Long Island (Queens and Nassau) so that makes us kinda neighbors.
You say you're a tinkerer and mechanic... I think you should just go full shark and make your own PV! ;)
I've been thinking about it there's a couple box mod style enclosures that look pretty cool
