written on the coil is 30-100w ohms, it has a white band accross the bottom if that helps?

Only going by the link provided above, they have "0.5 Ω: rated by eleaf from 30 to 100W" and it seems to be Kanthal A1.

Order up that Notch Coil in SS316L. I think it sounds interesting.

I like your device. Always wanted to have a 26650/18650 mod. Might be useful. The 26650 might have a tad bit more staying power over the length of a day.

Ok, I understand now! I think! lol The coils I have are basically not TC usable? I need to use either Nickle or TC-Ti coils? I attempted to order from the vapeshop but Im in the UK and they dont deliver here yet, lol I can just stick to wattage instead of TC control with the Kanthal ones I have?

Yep, Kanthal A1 only does wattage mode, NO TC.

Don't forget the notch coils are SS 316L. They should be great and can be used in wattage or TC mode.

Thanks sawlight, Im completely understanding that now :)

Just now trying to find the correct ones for TC, eleaf UK doesnt seem to sell the TC coils, lol

Is there actually any difference however between using TC and Wattage? the higher the wattage the hotter the vape?

The ad does not say anything abt Melo III, so I think we will wait to see what others might say. My guess is YES, it is the correct product.

Yes, higher wattage, usually the hotter the vape, all other factors remaining static - locked in, EXCEPT for one thing. If you are use to vaping at a higher wattage, you usually draw/inhale harder.

The "topper" makes a difference too. Tank is not the same as an RDA, which is not the same as an RDTA/RTA. I'd probably vape at around 110 to 120 watts on an Aspire Clieto 120, and at 120 to 155 watts on a Twisted Messes Squared RDA.

Ok, I can really see this vaping thing is going to start getting really expensive, lol

Look for videos on rebuilding those coils. They exist for the Aspire Atlantis IIs and I save all my old coil heads.

Also, an RDA will be much cheaper. You can buy an RDA and some wire and make your own coils.

Hey congrats for coming up to your 1 year anniversary! I just want to stop smoking, I never liked the taste or smell so thought this would be the prefect thing to do! its fun and tastes good :)

Smoking was killing me, and it was killing you. I was really hooked. Hopefully vaping is much safer and from everything I've read it is.

I realise vamping isnt going to be 100% safe, but its going to be loads safer than smoking! Ive already gone to 6mg of nicotine for my juice and I think its enough. I still crave some, but I have been smoking some until yesterday so today is really my first smoke free day and it is so much easier than I thought it would be!

how do I telll what kind of coils Im using?

I think I mentioned a few pointers earlier in the thread.
Look at the colour of the coil insulating silicone ring... or check out Eleaf's website.
