Ok, so work has been keeping me away... blame Uncle Same.

Anyhow, I'm curious about two things:

1. Do the connectors at his site work with V4L cartomizers?
2. Can he build a model that houses a 9v battery and turns it into 5v? I figure a 9v battery used in this way would mean easily obtainable batteries and pretty much a full 5v vape for the entire life of the battery. It would probably be Zippo-shaped.

I'm not 100% sure about the cartomizers but I think they are the same thread as a 901.
As far as the 9v battery thing, I'm sure if you name it Jeff can build it. Problem with that is the 9v batteries you get at the store, even the rechargeable ones are under 200mah and would be dead quick.

I believe you also need at least 1,000 mA output current. That's the reason for li-ion batteries.

Having seen the video of the Sidewinder prototype, however, I think it would be great if Jeff added a line of indestructible mods using a flat camera battery. (Those would be great for stealth vaping.)

I'm curious to know if you can use cartomizers with a Chuck as well. Cartomizers are all I've ever used, and since I'm way too busy (and lazy), I don't want to have to drip or refill constantly.

i use carto. my chuck has the 510 connector and i have the 510 to 901/808 adapter. works like a charm

+1 Grammie/Sc0ut: exclusively using V4L cartomizers on 2 Little Chucks both with 510 connectors, using the 510 -> 808 adapter.
No issues, ultimately convenient and inexpensive by refilling the carto's with various juices.

i haven't bought a new carto from v4l in a while. i use about 1 carto a day. i do my own refills. still satisfied with the whole setup.
