I had a Reva 901 battery that I bought from Liberty Flights about a month ago.
Looking into the connector, it looked like a screw head. Some KR808 cartomizers would work fine with it, some needed an adaptor....... I just purchased a new Riva 901 battery from Litecig. Looking into the connector of it and it's completely different, comes to a point. KR808 cartomizers will screw on and power up, but no draw, completely blocked air. The cartomizers work fine with an adaptor.
Just curious. Since the battery is described as being a Riva 901 on both internet sites, I was surprised to see a difference. Anyone know if Riva changed the design and which one is the newer design?
Thanks!

Would be interesting to see pictures of the two ends and maybe someone else will recognize one or the other

Sometimes 901's need an adapter to work with some KR8 cartos just for airflow. 901 atomizers provide their own air intake hole so 901 batteries are not always designed to provide airflow into the battery connection area. I know Vapor4Life KR8 cartos and Boge KR8 cartos are slotted across their pole so might provide some airflow themselves. Some other cartos like the "D-1" ones sold by nHaler are not notched and expect the battery to be.

I spent some quality time with google and I think you're correct ermafrying. Litecig sells the SLB Riva and I think Liberty sells the EM Riva. I also saw a reference to a Hello Riva when I googled it, so I guess there is a 3rd manufacturer out there too.
Anyway, the connector is the only difference I see. Both are 750's. Both have the same soft white button the lights up blue and same gold band. It doesn't really matter to me, since i already had the adapter and I planned to use it this way anyway. Could be an unpleasant surprise for someone who thought they'd be able to just use the KR808's without an adapter.

The Riva 901 matches well with the Bloog cartomizers, no burning taste or anything. I love that the battery will last me the entire day, so I only need to carry a small bottle of juice to keep the cart topped off. I leave the adapter on all the time and charge the battery with the standard KR808 charger. It does charge slower than the fast charger places sell, but with my routine it doesn't matter. I just plug it to charge when I go to bed and it's ready to go in the morning......
I still keep and use my standard KR808's for a backup and for those days when I want to blend in with the other smokers by using a more cigarette looking device.
