It just came in the mail and I put it on my bottom feeder but it wont make vapor. Its doing good to fill its own chamber. Took it the DT off and it popped juice in my eye. Worst pain ever lol. So now that I can see I am here for help. When its dry the coil glows but thats all the life I get of it. What a let down. Even tried direct drip. What gives?

Cant since it was used. Probably just enough to mess it up somehow?

Did you follow the directions on the avid website, they tell you how to get started with it.
I did not know you had to load it up a certain way when you first got it but I guess the person before me might not have known as well. It was suppose to have little use but now I know not to buy used at all. Will give it another shot when I get some funds up. Thanks for pointing that out because I had no idea. Just got into dripping.

The 357's are a great atty so try a new one when you get time and cash to do so.If you follow the instructions for using them they put out great flavor and vapor and will last a long time.I have a 510 that lasted me just over a year and a 901 going on 7 months now.Good Luck

Aha a little story for perspective, OP. I have had an HH357 long barrel version for four or so months. Has always worked fine. The other day, the cat knocked my PV onto the floor and broke my drip tip. Thinking nothing of it, I threw on another drip tip and continued to use my atty. A few days later, my PV kept telling me the load was too low to fire, but then it would fire intermittently. Finally getting sick of fighting it, I decided all it needed was a nice cleaning since I hadn't done it in awhile. I boiled some water and let it sit for awhile. Upon extracting it from the water and blowing it out, I noticed that there was a mass of something inside the atty. I thought it was boiled and then dried residue, and tried in vain to get it out. Finally I took a small screwdriver and popped out the mass - it was the bottom half of my broken drip tip. So for three days with a drip tip stuck inside it, my 357 chugged along and I had no idea it was stuck in there and then all the work I did to get it out, dripped ten or so drips, and it's been working fine.

Lesson? These things are great.

Is it possible the HH is flooded? When it has too much juice in it, it doesnt out put much vapor. You can blow it out ( through the connector end), then drip 5-6 drops, wait a minute then try it. Another problem might be the resistance of the HH is too high for your PV. What set up are you using?

The HH ispretty well known to spit when it gets too much juice in it. So thats pretty mormal. If thta bothers you, try the long barrel. Btw, the Cisco 510s are also pretty good amd cheaper

Hope this helps

after 1 week of using mine, it just died on me... no heads up or anything... kinda bummed :(

I have had 12 HH357 attys... Usually they last 5-6 weeks before I change em due to flavor loss and resistance drop, even if they still work.
Out of the bunch Ive only had one die after 5 days.... IMO theres nothing that compares to the HH357 atty... Direct dripping is all I do...

if you would like to send them to me instead of throwing them out I wouldn't mind
