My tastes seem to change weekly. When I first started vaping I bought some HHV Huntsman and Heathers Heavenly tobacco. Didnt really like it and put it away. I've been DIYing everything the past few months so havent touched all my bought juices in a while. The other day I thought I would dig them out and get rid of the ones I would never use. I tried the Huntsman and the HHT again and I love them. I would like to duplicate the tobacco taste. I tried all my tobacco flavors and the one that seems to come the closest is TFA Cowboy Blend. The others seem to be a different taste. Does anyone have any suggestions for a tobacco flavor that is similar?
Thanks

If you still have the original recipe and flavorings I would just do what you did the first time. The key to the difference in flavor from the first time you made it to now is not that your taste changed but the mix was allowed to steep the proper amount of time. Pretty much all tobaccos need to steep anywhere from 2 weeks to 5 weeks.

As I understand, you're looking for something close to Cowboy? The Cowboy renamed Western has a unique taste. I can't describe it but I use it from time to time and it will definitely put a good twang @ 2-3% mixed with other tobaccos. You may want to mix the Cowboy/Western with one or two other straight tobacco flavors or maybe add a bit of TA for twang. You could try some of the Hangsen's, Inawera tobacco W/ their Little Space Drop, Dirty Neutral Base...some good stuff...Toni D'Milano S'Camel is really good in my opinion...nice medium strength with an ever-so subtle sweetness.

The TFA RY4 Double is nowhere in the ballpark in taste comparison. The RY4D has absolutely no tobacco taste that I can discern...it's taste like a heaping spoonful of straight over-sweetened caramel.

44shooter, you might want to look at Inawera and Tobacco Express flavors. If you're looking for an accurate tobacco flavor, there is none better than Inawera - well, maybe NET, but other than that. Tobacco Express is basically VapingZone, and equally delicious.

One note: make certain to pick up some of Inawera's super-concentrated bases. Dirty Neutral Base (DNB) is very, very popular - it adds that "ashy" taste to your vape. Little Space Drops is like a walnutty tobacco, on the other hand, and DNB + ... + any tobacco they offer is a recipe for success.

ECigExpress is adding more than 100 new Inawera flavors in the next week or two, but you can still get a better price through InaweraShop.com, if you use the 15% off coupon. The only downside is that shipping is pretty bad from Poland - 2-3 weeks.

FA and Hangsen also make pretty good tobaccos, but man, that Inawera...

As I've seen noted here from members who have long used Hangsen flavors. They've noticed a discernable difference in the Original Hangsen factory sealed flavors and the ECX rebottled Hangsen flavors. I don't know whats up with this but it is a concern to exactly what I'd be getting in their rebottled Inawera flavors....jes saying

Thanks again
I just ordered some hangsen and ECX tobaccos from ECX to try. I'm sure I will find something I like. I've really taken a liking to tobaccos the past couple of weeks.

If it's original hangsen directly from hangsen that your looking for then the place you want to get your hangsen flavors from is
http://www.buyhangsen.com/

FYI - Right on to Danny's suggestion... I've ordered from buyhangsen.com twice now. Big difference in flavor from the Hangsen I've recieved in the past from ECF. The Highway flavor is higely different - so much better. The RY4 is heavenly... has a burnt sugar tast on top of tobacco.
