Hello everyone
I Have been a smoker since i was 14 and i am now 29 , Yesterday i bought my first e-Cig , the fantastic intellicig.
However after reading and finding this site last night i discovered what others have said about the intellicig and what i think about it
It is an amazing device But like others say you just dont get the hit/feeling in the throat like a normal cig gives you.
After a breif read on here last night i found there are loads of similar products & cartridges eTc etc.

so my question is...can i do anything or buy different cartridges for the intellicig that will give me more of a hit to the throat feeling? Or should i perhaps buy a different E-Cigarette ?

Thanks

I think Intellicig is M40x (one of the M400 series)

I started on M402 and M401 manuals - nice flavor but pain-in-the-a to fill and no there is not anything available for them except if you search you may find some old model CE2 reservoir cartos you need to fill with a syringe. But I would not expect any bigger hit. Don't even bother with adapters to use other atomizers because 1. everything end is fatter and b. when I measured the voltage of the M401 batteries I get 2.8v - not enough to run any other model's standard atomizer.

The M40x stuff - I bought ton (including a new PCC when I switched to M401 size) and still within 3 weeks I bought different models to use instead. I still leave a manual M401 set up at home with blue foam in the cart and a nice flavored juice - it delivers delicate sweet flavors well.

If you want to stay w/ slim minis for slightly bigger hits look at Joye 510 manual (short battery life though - like an M402), Joye 510 mega xl manual (280mah charge - more than M401, but 128mm long with a cartomizer), or Vapor4Life/KR808D-1 manual for an increase in heat and hit (especially with some of Vapor4Life's juices like my fave WOWbacco). Those are the most popular slim models. I use both. I like both. Notice - you want manual batteries. The two most popularwways to vape (dripping and cartomizers) can sometimes leak on the end of the battery. Auto batteries are prone to being damaged or killed by that. Autos can sometimes turn on by accident because of wind or vibration. And manuals give you more control of your hit.

If you want bigger hit than KR808D-1 then you have to go to fat battery model like Ego and Riva 510 or mods because things with batteries 450mah+ can use atomizers and cartomizers that are are considered low resistance vs their voltage and that means heat. And heat enhances hit.

Hey all , thanks for your very informative answers :)
One thing i have noticed on this subject is the vast amount of variants and options!!!!
The amount of options open to the non smoker is so vast!, but in all honesty i do not want to study and learn the huge amount of acronyms
I will controbute to the forum where i can but i just want to know a simple answer to my OP :) Via a link, Links as to what i should buy for THEE most realistic effect

I'm a newb myself (been vapiing about a month and a half) and know nothing about the intellicig.. but for me, when I'm in a stressed-out, I really wanna analog right now mood, the closest I get is with Ms. T's Red Hot Cinnamon Candy juice dripped in my eGo. I think it's the 'kick' part of it that makes it feel closer to me. Like a real Red Hot candy- kind of hot, but not still burning your mouth later kind of hot. HTH!

BTW- They also have other "kickin' " flavors, but I haven't tried them (yet). I do love to mix the red hot w/ other flavors like vanilla and peppermint though. :)
