hi all just joined first question quite urgent !

Hi just joined up so hello to my fellow vapers! .Just got myself a vision spinner 2 its been charging for around five hours now and has gone from orange to blue but when going from blue to white it sort of flicked between the two colours in increasing intervals.Till now its completley white and charging still. Question is should it do that its genuine but ive searched and cant find an answer

While I am not familiar with Vision Spinners, I know that my batteries (18350s, 18650s and others) do the same thing when they are just about finished charging.

yeah vision spinners flicker when the charging is almost done then will go to a solid color once it has fully charged

Thanks for that its a solid white colour now but the charger light is still red should i wait for that to go green ? Sorry with all the nooby questions if you dont ask you dont learm !

i would wait for it to go green, usually the first charge takes the longest, however there are so many different chargers for the vision type batt that im not sure if that charger will go green or not

Well i did read it takes 5 to 6 hours and the ports on my pc arent very good for charging when I had my ego it took forever its beem on for 6 hours now so should be anytime soon according to what ive read so far

All that you asked in your question was normal behavior for my Vs2 batteries I had. Colors indicate the power levels in case you were not aware, white is 100%-70%, blue is 70%-30%, and orange is 30%-0%. I actually did not notice this until one day I was cleaning my desk and moved one of the packages that the batteries come in and the instructions came out and I read that.

Generally the flickering light means the smart chip in the charger is checking the voltage status of the battery. Once the charger light turns green, the battery is fully charged and should be removed from the charger.

I have a handful of EH IMR 18650, 30amp, 1600mAh, Flat Top that I use when Im at home, they usually last a few hours of heavy vaping. I also have a handful of AW 18650 Protected 3100 mAh Rechargeable Lithium Battery - AltSmoke I use when I go out. The 3400mAh lasts me all day of heavy vaping. The 1600 drain fast and charge fast, the 3400 drain slow and take a lot longer to charge.

yes thanks I saw that makes a change to have some instructions and a useful percentage indication

With my computer the front USB ports are not suitable for charging batteries. If your not doing so, try the rear ports. If you are already doing that just ignore my ramblings.

I think I would buy a USB wall plug. You probably have one laying around. Might save your computer.

i actually did that today and guess what after a while the light on the vision went out and the charger went green! was a halleluja moment lol will be using my nice blue wall charger from now on lol also only took 1.5 hrs from the while light so im guessing 4.5 - 5 hr full charge which is better than the 8 hours it took and wasnt even close to being done due to as above the low current on the usb port

I chuckled at that, I learned the low current thing the hard way and was THRILLED when the battery actually charged on the back port. It was actually mentioned in the computer specs but it's been a few years and I forgot. I was SURE there was something wrong with the spinner.

Maybe somebody will find this thread in a future search and save themselves some grief.
