Hi everyone!

This is my first time on a vaping forum, so I'll be in your care :).
I'm not entirely new to vaping, but by far not seasoned enough to understand everything about it.

I started off with an Eleaf Istick (50W), which quickly became 'not strong enough' for me. And by 'not strong enough' i mean i wanted a deeper and stronger pull.
As I've always been fascinated by pipes, I upgraded to a Smok Guardian III. Been using that one for about a year now with a TFV4 tank. Sadly, the TFV4 got discontinued and replaced by the TFV8 and now the TFV12. Both of which require a bit more power than the 75W i can get out of my Guardian (even the latest coils for the TFV4 are a bit much for my Guardian).

Which leads me to my question:

I don't really get e-pipes. I only ever experienced my Guardian, which is a great mod, because I can put whatever tank I want on it! But, are there any e-pipes out there that will get me the deep and strong pulls I want? From what I can find, I only see e-pipes with small power output, but that might just be due to my inexperience and insufficient understanding of mods in general.

I would love a wooden mod that gets me the same, or a stronger, pull as I'm getting with my current setup. I'm just totally lost in researching pipe mods, not understanding what I'm really looking at and what it all means ^-^.

I'm quit content with my Guardian, but I've had it for a while now and its falling apart.. (The plastic casing is far from durable. But it's been my only mod for over a year now and I have it on me at all times, so that's only to be expected I guess). Feel like it's time for something new, if at all possible.

I know it's a bit of a long first post but I'd be grateful for any help I could get!

TLDR: Are there any other e-pipes out there that have, or can fit, a decent tank size and have a deep and, most importantly, strong pull (throat hit)?

Yes to say I'm a fan of e-pipes is an understatement, I have an expanding collection, although I'm tending to get away from mass-produced items these days & more into one offs, customs & conversions, which tend as a rule to be more suitable for higher resistance coils / tanks. Avoid the Kamry K series pipes, they tend to break easily & quickly. I assume as you have a Guardian III, you want something capable of sub ohm vaping, Smok also do the Guardian Sub Pipe & Guardian 40w, if you want similar to what you started with.

Otherwise the sort of thing you want doesn't necessarily come cheap.

A bit of background on e-pipes. Firstly most will only have 18350 or 18500 batteries, with the occasional one having 18650 (better for what you want, but the other 2 could possibly do it, if you don't mind frequently changing batteries * see below). I have seen dual battery pipes on occasion, but they are the exception rather than the rule.

Most will have 510 connectors on them so you can put whatever tank you want (some mass-produced models have Ego connectors), however with sub ohm tanks, you'll need to make sure the battery can handle the coil resistance (*where ohms law comes into play, as it would with any other mod). You'll find some that are variable wattage / voltage, but most are down to the performance of the battery & it's charge.

If your tank uses 1Ω+ coils then you can use pretty much anything, only really limited by how the tank looks on the pipe body (a lot will have 19mm or smaller shanks (especially conversions) & a 22mm tank can look odd on them).

I would also advise against pipes with an auto switch. Although I have a couple (& I love them to pieces, especially as you can use them hands free), with the best will in the world at some point you'll get e-liquid in the switch & the pipe will be useless.

Some options for you:

Sub-ohm capable pipes:

Cheap (& not too pretty IMHO, but not too far off your Guardian III) Joyetech Elitar Pipe Kit and E-liquid

Middle ground Information About Pipesmith E-Pipes

The other end of the scale would be a custom job. If you're quick & have the funds you might be able to get one of the last of these Freight Train Mods (I'd love one, but won't have the funds in time)

or this guy Security Check Required <it's OK, it's only a Facebook page (I'd love one of these works of art)

I believe these are also capable of sub ohm use, but speak to him before ordering Ull Crann traditional Pipe (on my shopping list)

Plus 1Ω pipes worth a look are Limelight (as mentioned above, possibly sub ohm too, I don't know enough about them, other than they are highly thought of)

& E-Pipe Mods Pipes (on my shopping list)

& cheap (although it's a 19mm shank & you'll need a 510 to 510 extender to get a tank other than it's own disposable tank on it. I've got one & use it with an extender & Nautilus mini tank) ePipe 609 | Electronic Pipe Starter Kit | E-Pipe 609 | ePuffer Vape

Then there is the option of one of the fine folk who take tobacco pipes & convert them to e-pipes such as:

Zepipes - zepipe

Mycroft Milverton's Magnificent Electronic Pipes -

& this gentleman who one (& more in the future) of my collection was converted by Steve Johnson's Vaping E-Pipes

Hope that helped & feel free to ask further questions.

Admins /moderators, apologies if this link isn't allowed, I'll understand if it's deleted.

Might be worth joining The ePipe Forum

Welcome and glad you joined.
A couple of drops of Everclear(pure grain alcohol) or vodka per tank fill will add an extra punch to e-liquid.
Adding few drops of apple cider vinegar is said to help too.
I remember the days of yesteryear when i used a pipe filled Balkan Sobranie laced with latakia was then the TH rage.
