Hey everyone, just started smoking these nice e-cigarettes and all i can say is wow. These things are great for smoking with friends, especially since they don't smoke, and this has also been a great way for me to actually stop smoking real cigarettes and stuff like that, when i started i got this joye ego-t system and its been great, only downside is the flavor contamination when switching between tanks and sometimes leaks, but it's not really that big a problem. I've been through a lot of juice already and finding it hard to find any good website that sell really good flavors, especially of the pineapple variety, and what a good pg/vg mix should be. Thought I'd check in here so that i could extend my knowledge on this subject and learn all that everyone here has to offer.

Hi there! welcome to ecf! I'm fairly new to vaping and I've been about 2-3 weeks smoke free! I also had some problems with ego tanks leaking and it sucks. You should look into getting a provari. I'm sure one of your friends could spot you some money.

I can honestly say that 99% of everything you learn in the vaping world is by trial and error. Your contamination is coming from the wick inside the "needle" part of the atty. try running some hot water through the atty between flavor changes. ive never tried it with those particular ones but it works with the regular attys and even cartos. oh, and make sure you let the atty dry completely before you put it back onto the battery.

For your leaks:

• If you stand your eGo up or hold them in the upright position too long, gravity will pull juice down to the battery. The tanks models need to be kept level at all times except when you are puffing on it, then you can tilt it downward so gravity helps to feed the coil in the atty to give you maximum flavor and vapor.
• If you draw too hard, you will pull juice right out of the chamber before it has a chance to atomize. This juice will either make its way to the battery or into your mouthpiece. You should only draw lightly enough to keep up with the vapor production of the atomizer.
• If you have a clean dry atty, put 2 drops of juice on the wick and let it soak in for a few seconds before you put the new tank on. A dry wick needs a chance to absorb juice and expand, otherwise the juice will flow thru it too quickly.

And you probably already know to make sure the cap on your tank is secure, and the tank is pushed all the way into the atty.

For changing flavors, I also flush out the atty with warm water. I find that 3 minutes usually does the trick for most flavors. If you still smell the previous flavor, go a little longer. Make sure that you only hold the battery end of the atomizer toward the faucet so that you don't risk pushing the wick down. Then blow thru the battery end a few times to get the excess water out.

I have a Ego-T and so far mine hasn't leaked but I do keep it level unless taking a toot. And yes you must try VermillionRiver juice the pineapple flavor is great and you will find other great flavors VR has. Thanks for the advice on the Ego-T just got mine in a few days ago and still working out the kinks, I just placed a order for a LR Atty hope that gives me better Vapor production and Max the flavor

wow, this looks like they have a good variety of flavors, and thanks for all the tips on the tank system I'm sure this will be a big help. though my friends just clued me onto these cartomizers things, and they are fantastic, seems like a much better taste and vape, but don't have many yet so i got my tanks as backups when i run out.
