Welcome to you! Yeah, I didn't realize just how noticeable the smell was until I got my sense of smell back. Took about two-three weeks. I started smelling smokers every where. And they did stink, I must have stank. Really glad that I didn't smoke in the house.

I still smell smokers at 10-15 feet, I just feel grateful I don't have to kiss an ashtray or subject someone else to that.

:)

Hi and welcome. Up you nic if needed honestly I had NO CLUE how that smell clung until I amassed some time smoke free. Currently trying to "reamass" some time smoke free after falling off the wagon. Upping nic in a few of my tanks helped a LOT.

But seriously, yes, that smell.. IDK how ANYONE could stand to be around me.

Congrats on starting your vaping journey you can do it!

Anna

Just joined. Looking for support. After smoking for 30+ years, vaping for 2 weeks, cig free.
Almost stopped @ gas station today, dearly wanted a cig. One thing that encourages me is, I don’t want to be “smelly.”
    All’s stories are an inspiration!
    Thank you for the support!
    Welcome and glad you joined.
The stench was one of my biggest incentives too, among others:
    Health
    Taste (flavors)
    Cost
    Cleanliness
    Hobby
    Fun
    Stealthy
    Less negative social stigma
    Promote new like minded friendships
Scalability, near complete control of all the above

    Inspiration - you are 2 weeks smoke-free :) Yay.
I smoked for a decade longer than you and have been smoke-free for 7 years and I totally love it and am totally satisfied.
The smell of smoke does not bother me but whatever works as your driving force is awesome. Just keep that in mind anytime you think of a having one.

I'd say to realize that there will be some bumps along the road and that's normal. Just remember that you have gotten through 2 weeks which means that you are 2/3 on your way to forming a much better habit --vaping. I train professionally and we always talk about the time-tested belief that it takes 21 days for something to become almost second nature so you are nearly there.

Also, make sure you have enough equipment -- oversupply yourself - be it batteries, juice, coils --whatever to make sure you absolutely eliminate any temptation.

I vaped myself silly in the beginning anytime I even remotely thought of a cig I picked up the vape.

So stay strong. Congrats on your progress so far and know that each day it will get easier and easier.

Hi and welcome . Same here 15 days cig free now . Have found it quite easy surprisingly ! I think its down to the massive selection of juices. When I felt I needed a cig which wasnt that often I treated myself to a new flavour. ! You have come this far congrats and keep it up ! X
