Hi, just happened upon this forum while searching for e cigs, its all very new to me, i only heard about them last week, but it sounds an ideal way to cut out the ciggies! I would like to buy a starter kit ASAP, but google has confused me becouse there seems so much out there! I would like something with a long battery life, or possibly a starter kit with two"cigs", as i spend at least 24 hours a week angling where charging would be an issue, can anyone point me in the right direction please?
Thanks in advance Jay

First-- Welcome!
Second-- Take a deep breath and read some of the stickies in the New Member forums. There's a lot of information and it seems overwhelming, but it all starts to make sense fairly quickly once you get your first kit and have a few days to get used to it.
Third-- Don't put pressure on yourself, some folks take time to make the switch to vaping and some stop smoking and go full vaping right away. Do what feels comfortable to you.
Fourth-- If you have questions feel free to ask. People here are great and very helpful.

Hi Jay and welcome. +1 on the Riva/eGo type e-cig. I have the eGo but it did cost me slightly more than the Riva would have. I think (but don't know for sure) the quality control is at least slightly better on Joye products and the guarantee was better so it was worth a little extra for me. Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Joye eGo Edit: Research and see if you can find a discount code. I can't find it at the moment but I'm thinking there should be one.

Hi Jay...I definitely agree with those recommending the Riva or eGo starter kit from Liberty Flights...they have excellent prices to begin with and also offer 20% off with their discount code. The Riva and the eGo are essentially the same thing, one being a Joyetech product, the other not, but as far as I know, that's the only difference. The battery life in these two models lasts anywhere from 6-8 hours or more, depending upon use...I've seen folks reporting in these forums that their Riva/eGo lasted more than a day on a single charge. In either case, the kits come with two batteries, so while you're using one, the other is charging so you should never find yourself caught with a dead battery in those cases. "Standard" eGo battery is 650 mAh but you can also buy them even larger...900 to 1,000 mAh. Hope this helps and welcome to ECF :)

Hi Jay,
I used smoke Golden virginia. Up until last monday when i ran out of tobacco and started on my newly purchased e cig.

I am way way too much of a novice to point you in any direction yet mate. But i'm waiting for some e liquid (24mg golden virginia) to come. When it does and i've worked out a way of filling up my used cartridges to vape it. I shall let you know if i think it's any good. It's £5.99 for 30ml which should last about 3 weeks.

Just to let you know I am blown away by this whole e cig thing. I love it. It's going to work for me.
If yours does come and you don't get on with it at first post up in here. Everyone seems really really helpful.

Cya for now . . Del
