Hi everyone ,

First Off , I must say this is a wonderful board. I had recently found it and have been reading so many topics. I find it all ~ so Amazing as so , helpful , friendly and the support & enthusiasm you all give each other and newbies by posting , shows you really care about others and want to help . :) SO Refreshing and lets face it as All smokers / Ex and E's all need help and a place to feel comfy .

My son bought me a black 510 and I am not happy with it.
I get hardly anything out of it , that gives me that mental relax.
[ Also after 3 weeks , it is not even charging ]
I need something stronger , that releases smoke , has the closest taste of a cigarette to really get started . I smoke Marlboro and had cut down to No Smoking in [ at least ] the new car and now that the E is not working I am proudly , not smoking in the car so I know , I can change old habits that die hard . I need to do this for Me , for Health reasons and simply because it is time to STOP or cut it way down with an E.

I know you get these post all the time and I have looked at many .Your response post are so helpful but to a new slow newbie , I am having a hard time , understanding all the brands , juices and abbreviations , all though I have a note pad going with such.

Any help to get me going would be GREAT as I know I can do better than what I have now. When I first received my 510 , it was * priceless * as I had it in a hospital and no one knew . It got me through a hard time which I am sure helped me , my nurse's and Docs by being able to stay calm! . It is an Amazing Product !

Nice to meet you All , Carolann

Hi Carolann! Sorry to hear that your 510 isn't quite doing it for you anymore, but it is good to hear it initially was a help. I guess if you need something stronger you might want to look into vaping at a higher voltage. As far as which unit might serve you best I'll leave that to the experts so I'm just hoping to bump the thread up a little by posting. Same goes for juice that'll taste more like a cigarette - I think it's really hard to do, since there's no combustion but there are lots of people out there who are fans of tobacco/menthol flavors and use them for their daily vape who should have some good suggestions.

Welcome Carolann! I am sorry your 510 isn't doing it for you anymore. Do you know if it was a disposable unit? Because those batteries should still be able to be charged otherwise. If it WAS a disposable then they may be done and it's time to look at something else OR just get a regular 510 kit. Best price seems to be $35 from cignot.com. I have always used a dse901 (for over a year now) and still love it.

Love your name, Carolann. Even though it reminds me of the little girl in Poltergeist. (I bet you've heard that 1,000 times, eh?) <g>

Help me out here -- You're not getting the "mental relax"? I'm taking that to mean that you're not getting the feeling one would normally relate to smoking a cigarette?

Do you get enough vapor and throat hit from your 510? If the answer is yes to those questions then the thought here is that you're just not getting enough nicotine from what your body is used to. Being that you're still new, are you using pre-filled carts that came with kit? If so, then you *really* haven't experienced vaping yet. You really want to experience using e-liquid -- either filling your own carts or dripping directly onto the atomizer.

Is your 510 a manual (do you have to push a button) or is an automatic? Regardless, it sounds like one of your batteries went kablooey (highly technically term for no longer working). LOL

I put a lot of questions to your questions and I apologize but it's the only way we can help get to the root of your unsatisfactory experience.

Welcome Carolann! Again, sorry to hear that the 510 did not seem to work for you. I was wondering as well if it was a disposable or if you received a bad battery. If you are totally unhappy with the 510, I would certainly recommend the Tornado by Totally Wicked or its twin, the eGo by Janty. Great battery life and alot of vapor. If you want to start of with tobacco flavored juices there are many great vendors listed on the forum but I would certainly recommend Tasty Vapor Tasty Vapor and DIYFlavorshack http://www.diyflavorshack.com/ and My Freedom Smokes http://www.myfreedomsmokes.com/. Also, you can read about all the vendors and get some feedback from the ECF Approved Suppliers Forum ECF Approved Suppliers - E-Cigarette Forum. Please ask questions as everyone at ECF is here to help. Good Luck!

Got anyone handy with wires and a screw driver?
Send them an S. O. S. and go to the following:

Stay right at their side because, even if you don’t think you can, you can do this yourself. Believe me, if I can, you can.

I’ve never used the 510 but the atty is suppose to be a good one. Build a mod called the NicoStick and before the weekend (maybe today), you’re back vaping away.
AND, you’ll love it.
I stock piled a bunch of stock batteries and only use when I want my PV to look like a real analog. You’ll do the same thing because mods are just better.

Build the one to get you vaping again, but if you decide you don’t want to build more, you can buy them.
