Hey there! Brand new member :)

I was led here after a a great but also disappointing experience with electronic cigs. I'll tell ya my story...

It started with a trip to 7-11. I picked up the new NJOY Kings in "bold" flavor. I remember thinking, "Wow! How remarkable is this?" The same size as a regular cigarette, $8, and good for about 2 packs worth! The throat hit was strong and the nicotine level was outrageous! Was buzzing pretty hard off the little dudes, but let me tell you... they were good for maybe half a day the way I was smoking them. No way could it replace two packs!

Feeling a bit frustrated by this, but also optimistic, I noticed they had the NJOY starter kits. Hmm, ok.. rechargable. Not as small as the little "King" was but I'll give it a shot. Nicotine and vapor amount was quite a lot less, and still hardly any battery life.

I saw a YouTube vid with a fellow reviewing some kind of battery or tank or something and saw just enormous amounts of vapor all over the place! I think he was reviewing the ego-C twist. Found this forum and did some poking around.........

Now I've got an order in for some kit and I'm hoping for the best.

1 Ego Spinner fat 1300 mah and Vivi Nova tank, with trim ring and charger
1 Ego Spinner 650 mah and Mini Nova, also with trim ring etc.. and some juice samplers in 3 diff flavors.

Got all this junk from GotVapes and it should be here in a couple days. I'd like to get off the analogs permanently. Tired of stinking and being a social outcast :(
I hope I've got enough kit to get started. I noticed when I ordered that GotVapes was completely sold out of the replacement heads in all but the lowest resistance variety. I hope that's not a common occurrence. I did some searching for a B&M store in my area, found one about an hour away.. ugh! Just don't want to run out of fire, or juice or battery. I'm a PAD smoker and have been for 20 years.

If anyone with a similar setup could give me some pointers on what to expect, or what to do when the kit arrives (don't know anything about wicking, dry burning.. this is all new to me) that would be great. And if I need a ton more juice and heads I'll get on that ASAP.

Thanks for reading. I know I'm not the only noob to go down this rabbit hole after seeing another one of those BLU ads on TV ;)

Welcome to ECF. Even without dry burning the heads on the Novas just rinse them under hot water and let them air dry. Take everything apart. I do this about every other day or when I change juices. My Nova heads have lasted over 6 weeks. Order more juice.

In the E-Liquid section there are tons of threads on juices, look for one on sampler packs... http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...cks-listing-those-seeking-favorite-juice.html

I do not know what you like but if your trying to quit cigarettes do not try tobacco flavor at first, it does not taste like a cigarette. Go for a fruit or bakery flavor to get you started and move on from there. If you try a sample pack, do order a tobacco for later. Most juices need to steep for a few days to 2 weeks to develop their flavor so always have juice on hand.

Looks like you have 3 tanks, 2 batteries and a charger, good to go. Not enough juice.

Hi and welcome to the ecf. I got started with a similar setup as you are getting, and it worked very well for me.
I will echo the earlier sentiment : get more juice. Don't want to run out.
Poke around the forum for different vendors, and you'll find some discount codes to use aswell.
Enjoy your spinners.

It's actually 2 tanks. One reg one mini :) Thanks for saying something about juice. I'm going to get on that right away. My first order did include a bacco flavor, but also berry blue and strawberry peach. Sounded yummy at the time.
I'll probably find myself cleaning the tank often. I can get .... about stuff like that. Maybe each time I need to fill. I'll have plenty of opportunity throughout my normal work day to rinse and fill when I need to. Plus I can have a batt charging while using another, due to having access to power either USB or wall wart.
I wanted to try a mini tank with a smaller battery for a more inconspicuous rig.. but also for a bit of flair. The 650mah battery is chrome, which I imagine will look snazzy with the mini nova and the silver 510 drip tip I got to go with it. Trying to have a little fun with it.. anything to get me off the analogs!

I'll check out the link you provided. I'll probably order an additional charger to go with my extra juice :D Thanks for the warm welcome!

Hi noi_max, welcome to ECF and congrats. I also have the Spinner (2 X 1300) and LOVE them with the Mini Vivi Novas.
If anyone with a similar setup could give me some pointers on what to expect, or what to do when the kit arrives (don't know anything about wicking, dry burning
I find the 1.8 ohms Vivi heads are good for 3.3- 4 volts. The 2.4 ohms heads are good for 4- 4.8 volts....4- 4.5 volts on the 2.4 ohms seems to be my "sweet spot". Some juices will be tasty at higher voltage and others at lower voltage...try starting at a low voltage and dial it up until you find a setting you like.
I'll probably find myself cleaning the tank often. I can get .... about stuff like that.
That's a good thing. I wash my tanks and heads every 2 days. With light colored juice I dry burn once per week and with dark juice I dry burn every 3-4 days- light juice I wash the heads in warm water and the dark juice heads I soak overnight in PGA. Realize some agree with dry burning while others say it may damage the coil. I've been dry burning my heads for 3 months without issue. My heads last about 4 weeks. When putting the Vivi back together again make sure the metal cap inside the silicon cap is in so the rounded concave part is up. The flat side faces the battery end of the Vivi.
Best of Luck.
P.S. Remember to drink LOTTSA water as vaping is extremely dehydrating. I drink 2+ liters per day.

Got another 5 5ml samplers on the way. 50/50 - 18mg blends. I'm curious to try the caramel cappuccino and Dr pepper flavs ;)

A total then of 43ml between what I just ordered and what I previously ordered. About 10 refills on the Nova or so? Dang. Gonna have to track which flavor is in which tank as I go, so I can reorder the stuff I like. So excited and I haven't even got the stuff yet!

Welcome to the forum! I wish I found this site first. You did better than I did on my first purchase. I now have a 1000 mAh Twist, and love it. The best thing I like about the Twist is one change the volt setting by twisting the end cap, which can come in handy.

Where juice is concerned, most of them have to be steeped, or aged. Some flavors will taste green when the bottle is first opened. Shake the bottle, pull the cap off, and let it sit for about a week in a dark closet, or other convenient place. Yes, order more juices, so you can keep a rotation!

With all those flavor samples on the way, you'll need something to test them out to see if you like them. You don't necessarily want to empty your larger capacity tanks to test out flavors that you may not care for.

I use something like these:

GotVapes PHOENiX™ REBORN Bottom Coil XL 1.5ml Carto 2.4-2.6ohms [gv-PHOENIX-XL-2.4-510] - $11.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

The Phoenix has had gotten great reviews and are well tested. These are a hybrid combo of a clearomizer and cartomizer. You don't need a lot of juice to figure out if you will like it or not, and these only hold 1.5ml. They are clear, so you can observe the juice's viscosity and level in the tank. No polyfill material like a cartomizer has that can alter a juice's flavor. Best of all, they are inexpensive and reusable. $12 / 5 pack, including fill syringe and drip tips.

Only buy samplers or small trial sized from juice vendors until you are sure you like the flavor so to not waste money. Finding flavors that you will like will be very hit-and-miss, it's just the way it is. Tastes in juice is extremely subjective, so what one person likes another will detest.

I see you ordered the 18 mg nic level. You MAY want to try a sample or two of 24 mg. if you were a PAD smoker. At any rate, good luck and say goodbye to the stinkies!

I got an additional USB charger and took the 40% offer thingy on juice from vapedudes. It's 10 ml, so no sample size. Kinda spitting in the wind there, but I got two flavors that come well recommended in the 50/50 24mg strength. (coffee vanilla and buttery nipple)

When all this stuff arrives I won't know where to start! Hope none of my kit is DOA.

Most samples won't need steeping, but, if you don't like a flavor, let it sit for a while for steeping. Try it again later on. It might get better. I agree with different mg's of nic strength, but with the set up you have coming, you could just vape more often. I tend to vape constantly so vaping more wouldn't be a possibility. ;)

When you get your stuff, if you have any questions, just pop on here and ask away. There are many on here that can help with any questions or issues that may come up.

You started with a very good setup! Nice job researching!

My only advice is 'you can NEVER have too much juice'! LOL! I found out the hard way my first month in and had to settle for those awful AND expensive disposable Blu until my juice arrived. I haven't let that happen again.

You have found THE place to be for anything related to vaping. The people here know more about vaping than the person who invented it!

Welcome and congratulations!
