Two small fact corrections here.

1. The button is not metal at all. It's semi-clear plastic like most all of them, with a small dot of silver paint in the center.

2. A blue light was mentioned twice. There is no blue light.

Green, fully charged.
Yellow, battery is low. Also turns yellow if you've been vaping far too heavily for several minutes and things are getting too hot.
Red, critically low. (I've only seen red once)

And 2 very important points not mentioned at all.

1. The Lea works as a pass through.

2. The Lea is fairly sensitive to the thickness of your juice. It works best with dekang or juices of similar viscosity. I found that with some others, the experience ranges from unimpressive to unpleasant. With Dekang, I found it's V,TH&F to be on par with or better than the Leo.

Thank you for your corrections. I mentioned that the button was metal in the first impressions section, so I didn't get a very good look at it there.

The furthest I've gotten my battery down to was yellow, and I heard in some review that it does turn blue and nobody told me otherwise.

I only realized that it was a pass-through yesterday, actually. Again, I didn't have the Lea for very long, I've only had it for a week when I made the followup. There was nothing that I saw on the box that told me it was pass through capable, not on the device itself. The only reason I found this out was when I was charging it, I decided to see for myself and it worked.

In regards to the juice, this was my first tank system and I've only used Dekang juices in it. I'm still not very fond of it. I haven't tried any juices other than Dekang with it, though.

One final thing that I'm correcting for myself that you didn't mention- Apparently, the Lea has a 510 thread. I noticed that when I unscrew the atty of the lea it was a pretty small thread so I tried putting on my 510 carto and VOILA! It worked like a champ!

Anyway, I appreciate the corrections and I realize that I should have double checked my info before posting it. I will do so next time.

I've struggled to like the LEA after about a week of using it... And I know what you mean about the wetness. I find it's important to clean the tank cartridges and let them dry after a couple days use of each. That wetness comes from juice along with vapor running through the vent holes and up into the mouth piece, around the actual juice reservoir. It doesnt say so in the instructions, but it should probably note that it's important to cycle through the tank cartridges, run some water through them, then let them dry. Not sure if you're like me, but I tend to use one tank/carto until it's dead, rather than to switch between different ones... If you do the same thing, that could be why you didn't have the best experience with it. Between swapping tanks and swabbing the cone of the atomizer with a Q-tip at the end of every day or two, it guarantees you won't have the fluid running into your mouth. Using it heavily causes a liquid buildup within the atty cone, and that's where the issue can be resolved just as easily.

I actually love the Lea now that I dont have the wetness issue. It's perfect for taking it to work, takes a nice easy draw, it's quiet, doesn't produce a conspicuous cloud of vapor, people think it's a pen in my shirt pocket, and the on-off reassures me it won't fire accidentally.

For those reasons, I find it way better suited for my needs than I did the LEO. I feel like the LEO has to add a few of the features of the LEA to male the ultimate grab/go compact device, while the LEA could use a better feeding system, like the LEO.

Nothing's perfect yet I guess, but I've found the LEA enjoyable as a result of getting it to work right... It took a little trial and error, but I'm finally happy with it and urge you to give my suggestion a shot

Hey Bauzen,

I do know what you mean but I've just given up on the Lea tanks in general. What I noticed was that the Lea has a 510 thread, so I now just pop on a LR 510 atty and THAT'S good to go for me :)

The tanks do not give satisfactory vapor for me, either. With the 510 LR atty all of those problems are solved. You should try that out sometime

I have a few 510 LR Attys sitting around, and I've tried it... It does work well, but unfortunately, the cap doesn't click shut without the stock LEA atomizer in place. I really want the ability to cap the device and utilize the pen-style clip, keep it as discreet as possible when I take it out with me.

Maybe someone will come up with a fix? I'll gladly go that route if someone comes up with it. I'm sure I could fit the cap over a 4ml carto on there if it's screwed directly to the battery, bypassing the extension of the stock atty.

Any ideas on how to get the top to snap shut with your suggestion?

No I'm sorry, I actually have the same problem myself. I also would like to use the pen clip but better performance is more important for me than discreetness. I have not tried this myself but maybe if you put an o-ring or something similar on the base where it snaps shut, it may make a solution to our mutual problem.

Alright, I'm convinced...

The LEA is a POS.

I'm tired of dealing with the annoying cleaning process to get me through my day.

I ultimately spend more time cleaning the excess vapor off the sides than I do using it.

The only thing I would suggest you do before you ditch you Lea, is try it with dekang juices. I had TERRIBLE problems with a couple different juices, but with dekang, I only have to clean the atty about once every 3 weeks.

Also, there are two baffles in the mouthpiece. The inner one can simply be taken out and thrown away.

I don't know if it's not wicking properly or what, but I have the same problem every 2-3 days after cleaning/boiling, etc... It's just wasting my juice and more importantly, my time. No eCig should be this annoying. I've pretty much been doing what other people here have done, cut my losses and use it as a battery for a LR carto
