I've been vaping on a iStick 50 with subtank mini ranging between 17-25w for 3 weeks although the first week was really light use but overall I really like it. I started with the .5 coil and a few days ago I got my first burnt hit at 25w. I found I could lower the wattage to around 17w and I no longer get the burnt taste.
Today I decided to put in the 1.2 coil and I think I used too much juice to prime it because I just got a tiny puff of vapor. After taking it apart and wiping the coil I put it back together and it's now putting out good vapor again however I'm getting some juice spitting and that harsh nicotine feeling in my throat like it did when I first started especially in the morning, usually it would go away the more I used it throughout the day. I thought this was odd because I've already vaped a fair amount already today. When I put the old .5 coil back in it was smooth again but when I retuned to the new 1.2 coil it's harsh and the nicotine effect seems to be more pronounced. The only other thing different is that I have a fresh charge, before it was running at around 50%.
Other than topping my tank off it's the same juice and only 3mg.
