Hi my name is Tyler but I go by logicPwn on the internet. I develop open source Windows applications and backend web coding in my spare time. Now I have tried and tried to quit cigarettes and for the most part I have been successful. But when I go to parties I can't resist and need something to keep a real cigarette out of my hands. I used a Lava Tube from a buddy of mine the other day and loved it. This site seems to have the greatest amount of real knowledge on which models are best bang for your buck. I currently picked up the Green Smart Living ecig for $20 and it does alright. Just needed something to hold me over. Anybody have any suggestions for my first VV vape? I was looking into this ego t - Joye eGo Starter Kit | LiteCigUSA for my first. Or should I spend much more money to get the Lava Tube from Volcaonoe Cigs?

That kit isn't vv. The twist is a VV that is a good entry level vv pv.

I say look into piecing your system together to what you like, then find a kit online or wherever if it is available. Sometimes kits come with something you wouldn't want to use so you end up paying more. Customizing to your preference is better. Ask your buddy to help you.

Hi Tyler,

Welcome!! You do know the kit your are looking at is not VV don't you?

I ordered a similar kit when I started a couple weeks ago, and was told that the ego-T tends to leak... So I ordered a mini vivi nova instead... and it worked great on the batteries that came in my kit... Now just today I ordered an ego twist cause I wanted to try a variable voltage... If I were you, I'd start with ...

Ego Twist
Mini Vivi Nova

I wish thats were I would have started and it would have saved me about 50 bucks...

I take it we're not allowed to share links? Too bad, I wanted to show you the kit I started with. Got a great deal! Anyway, it was an eGo-W kit and despite some concerns about leaking, I've had no troubles whatsoever, and I've even dissembled, cleaned and reassembled one of my cartos twice already! One piece of advice from a newbie: spring for 1000mAh or more batteries! 650s are small and compact so that's nice, but I worry about batteries dying when I'm dying for a puff ;P

And to Frank - CONGRATS! Hope you keep that momentum going :)
