Hi, I am a forty plus woman who smoked for over thirty years before picking up the vape, started on a stick mod, two years later I have a Tesla steampunk. Laws are different over here form in the USA and we are promoting vaping as a healthier alternative to smoking, much the same as in the UK. I have recently been researching about all the bad things Drs and the news has to say about vaping and am pleased I have managed to dispel these myths for my own peace of mind. I am very thankful to live in a country that supports us, the majority of health professionals back it as a healthier alternative, as well as our government who have added vaping to our stop smoking website.

Yeah that “vaping is great” thing happens in a lot of countries until the cigarette companies come calling with their marketing weasels and their endless piles of cash to lie to people with. It’s happened in country after country. I hope it never hits your shores. With luck you folks will be considered too small and far away for the big money to come reaching for you.
There are a bunch of NZ vapers here. This site is actually British, though it’s populated largely by Americans.

I've been smoke-free and vaping for 18 months now. I only wish I had quit earlier. But I was very pigheaded, loved smoking - just hated the cost. It took a major ankle fracture, being stuck in hospital for 2 weeks, and being told my fractures wouldn't heal if I smoked for stubborn me to finally try vaping
Within 2 weeks of vaping, using a simple vape pen, I decided I much preferred vaping over smoking, and have never looked back.

Welcome and glad you joined.
Your lucky to living in a small country where frauds are quickly (relatively) identified. The only problem we have is there are too many frauds in this part of the world. Maybe some day some of our good folks will take time to get there heads out of the sand.
