Thanks for the help everyone. My mate has told me to look at the aspire nautilus. What are your views on this?

nautilus is OK (well, it's good...). I wouldn't be interested myself....not at that price, I'd rather use a kayfun or Taifun clone.

Are you decided on battery/mod yet?

Now - you know where to shop, don't you?

(please don't just google... that's where it can go horribly wrong, unless you have money to burn....)

:)

I have an Aspire BDC and it floods a lot. I can't seem to keep it vaping well all day. It will hit well a few times and then flood. On the other hand my Kanger protank3 has never flooded or had to be tinkered with. I wish I had just bought 2 pt3's.

So far it is out of the following:

Innokin MVP v2
Innokin VV v3
Vamo v5

Which clearomiser would you recommend? Iclear30? Kanger protank 2?

Welcome! I started vaping about 7 or 8 weeks ago, and quit the analogs (analogues ;) ) 5 weeks ago today. Started with a single-voltage setup (one each 650 maH and 900 maH batteries - relegated to backups now). Got a Vision Spinner 1300 (variable voltage) a couple weeks into this journey. Then over the weekend picked up an iTazte vv3 (variable voltage and variable wattage) I use EVOD tanks and toggle between 2.2 ohm and 2.5 ohm coils. At this time NOT interested in building my own. Love the Spinner, and I'm THRILLED with the VV3. I like the variability of voltage/watts based on the coil and even the flavor of juice. My iTazte came with iClear 16s. I'm not sure that I like those, as there seems to be a plasticky and even burnt taste with them. Haven't gone down the protank route yet (the EVODs are relatively inexpensive, and I have multiple through which I rotate flavors.) However, I hear very good things about the PT2.

From what I understand, the MVP has a GREAT battery life. I like the vv3 because it's a pass-through, but I like the Spinner because it will last a little longer between charges than the vv3. I prefer the "pen" style, just because. You may find that you'll get a couple different mods, just to see how they behave, and you may like using one in certain situations, compared to other situations.

If your budget allows, you might try a couple different ones - YMMV, and it never hurts to have a spare.

Welcome to the "club" and happy hunting.

Cheers
