I just feel soooo good today to be able to actually be 6 months free of smoking!!! Yea!! Cue up Pharrell Williams and do the "Happy" dance with me!! Yeah!! :vapor:

I got introduced to vaping Christmas day by my 22 year old nephew- and I instantly just knew i could do it. vaping was going to be my ticket out! I couldn't wait until the next day when the B&M vape shop he told me about opened and i could go over and get my Ego Twist starter kit... I had 4 cigs to deal with but decided not to- and I haven't looked back since!! I'm talking no cigs people!! Yeah!!

I love love love this site!! You see I have to get better about posting, but I am a primo lurker (read read read!)... I have learned so much from everyone and am so grateful to have found vaping and been able to put down a 35 year smoking habit. ....Happy...!

Oh- also- i had 6 packs of cigs left in a carton on 12/26/13 and just kinda procrastinated about what to do with them,....sell them on Craigslist for cheap? nah- too much like selling drugs....Give them to a smoker i know?nah- I have given 3 people i know that smoke vape starter kits- I can't give cancersticks... THROW THEM AWAY? Well i have been saying that WHEN i reach a milestone I will ceremoniously ditch them. TODAY IS THE DAY!!! In the trash they go!!! .....Happy...!!

Yay!!!! That's the way, Julie! :)You got it! Good for you! Congratulations! 6 mos. is a biggie and you should be happy! Had that very same quandary about what to do with the smokes. Am waiting for my l yr, then tossing a few in the fire pit to offer up my thanks. Do a little happy dance, shake my rattles and sing my tunes of thanksgiving. :D The rest of the two cartons will go into the trash. It feels so wonderful!

The best part about quitting (well aside from your health of course ;P ) is that food starts to taste soooooo much better again! I think this is one of the reasons people say they gain so much weight after quitting ( I know it's really not but it's still funny ) I can taste subtle flavors again and since my nose isn't all smoked up the aromas all mingle with the tastes and food has once again become exciting! Congratulations! Amazing job on quitting!
