I've been using e-cigs for about a month, and I LOVE it!!! I tried to quit smoking and after 2 weeks, I was still jonesing for nicotine, but instead of going out and buying a pack of cigarettes, I went to a kiosk at the mall and bought my first e-cig starter kit. After looking online, I regret buying that particular starter package. DOH!

Since I only had 1 battery, I went to vapornine and bought a starter package that was a MUCH better deal! But, the battery life sucked. I have been researching the tank cartomizers with variable voltage, and since vapornine came out with one recently, I bought the supernova from them. I love it! I started using it yesterday, and the battery is still going strong!

I know I sound like I am promoting vapornine, but I do not work for them. I just went with them, because my first experience buying from them was very good. I've been on youtube watching vaping videos and reading online, but there are a lot of information to sort through and I am hoping this forum will help me get more knowledge on the world of e-cigs.

I still have a lot to learn about vaping (and, the terminology of different types of mods?), so I am looking forward to learning even more on this forum.

And, btw, I bought an e-cig instead of an analog cig, because my brother was vaping at my parent's house one day. I was wary of e-cigs, in the beginning, because I thought since it is used as a quit smoking aid, the nic juice may not have any nic in them at all, and that quitting smoking through e-cigs was more psychosomatic with dealing with the habit and ritual of smoking. Now that I know the juice has nic in them, I love vaping! :vapor:

Congrats on your quit and welcome to the forum. It sounds like your doing really well with the kit you have, just make sure you read the stickies about battery safety and handeling in the forum and make sure to use protected batteries, always. We will be here to help with any questions that may come up. Enjoy :)

Welcome to the vaping community and I'm so glad you quit the nasty analogs :) I too started with the VaporNine e-cig but soon required something better, but at least it got me off of cigarettes. I haven't smoked in about 11 months after smoking for 30 yrs. I love vaping and it has saved my life! This forum is great for any questions you may have. You can also learn alot on youtube in the reviews of products, or if you go to stickam.com you can watch vaping shows live in the evenings like vapetv, vapetalk, elixirtv, hydrocloudvapor, and many others that are there. They are great shows to watch and learn more about vaping as well as meet more people in the vaping community. Good luck to you and keep vaping!

Congrats!

Sounds a little like my start - I bought a Health-e-Cigarette from a local Tobacco shop after seeing an ad on TV.

Then I did some research and bought a 510 kit; then I was dissatisfied with battery life and bought a Silver Bullet (Black ed.)

Now I find myself needing the smaller form factor again, and am patiently waiting for 4 more batteries and a PCC (coincidentally from vapornine)

Good luck, and happy vaping!

I got lucky and found this forum before buying anything but the Blu disposable which, for me, was awful. After reading and reading here, I decided to go with the eGo T knowing maybe not the best of the best but I wanted to get started quick and knew I needed something decent and low maintenance. I'll be looking to upgrade eventually but this has kept me off analogs for 11 days now without wanting to open the unopened pack of Salems I still have in the bottom of my purse.
Best to you on your vaping journey!

Welcome to ECF......wealth of knowledge in these pages...happy vapin

Yes, you are def right about that! :D

It took me a couple of days, but I have read all of the stickies. After reading the sticky on batts, I have become a little paranoid, and am now following all the safety tips.
