So I am new to E-cigs, but I am not one to jump in feet first without researching. My brother gave me his Direct E-cig and I found I enjoyed using it, but I am sure there are much better E-cigs out there I am up to any and all suggestions. I have already set up an account with VaporKings and ordered liquid and atomizers for the Direct E-cig. I am/was a heavy 2+ pack a day Winston Full Flavor smoker and at 6+ dollars a pack and for health reasons plus my 3rd child soon to be born I need to quit smoking. As I said I am up to any and all suggestions, I would like to use E-cigs but would like the most reasonable and still pleasurable experience. So thanks in advance for comments/suggestions.

Welcome. Always nice to hear about a new vapor. I did a ton of research also before jumping in. Most of that research was right here on the forum. The 510 & DSE901 seem to be the most popular starter e cig and a lot of verterns still use their 510. The 510 produces a lot more vapor than the 901 but the battery life sucks. 1 -2 hrs. The 901 produces adequate vapor but the battery last a lot longer. You probably won't be satisfied with either of these for very long because there are so many better but more expensive ones out there now. I have an ego now and wish I had started with this one and saved myself a ton of money. Good luck.

Welcome to the world of vaping.... hope you enjoy....

I didn't do a lot of research before buying.... had I found ECF before buying my first kit I am afraid I would have gone into information overload and decision paralysis would have set in.... was easier for me to sort it out once I was holding something in my hand.... I am still mostly an 808 carto fan...

Once your sure vaping for you then consider a mod of your liking for more battery life and less hassle.....oh I almost forgot..

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your decision. You'll get a ton of suggestions depending on individual preferences. For myself, I love my kr808's. Also like my 510's :)

My dad uses a V4L I believe that it is a kr808 and he swears by it and he recently got a manual battery and like I said he swears by it.

If you're smoking half a pack or less, then go with either the 510 or the KR808D-1. If you're smoking more than half a pack, then an eGo would probably be the better choice because of the increased capacity. Hope that narrows it down a bit for you.

Very much so, I am probably going to go with the ego-t, I smoke alot and the large tank seems like it would be my best bet, and refilling looks to be a great money saving option as well. Again thank all of you for your input and I will keep you posted on my decision and experiences.

So I ordered an ego-T and recieved it today and I have to say it is amazing!! I did make one mistake and ordered E liquid in 24mg and thats a little bit too strong for me i get a nice head rush but I think Ill cut it with 0 nic of the same flavor. So anyway I love the ego-T, thanks to everyone for their input.
