This is my first post on here but have looked around the site quite a bit. I am finally getting back into the world of vaping! I had a joye 510 about 2 years ago and it worked great for a while but my friends at the time all smoked cigarettes and i gave up the 510 6 months later. Now ive decided to start vaping again and hit the ground running. I have just ordered the Omega from AltSmoke.com and am anticipating its arrival, but ive got a couple of questions. 1. If i smoke a pack a day what would you guys recommend for mg? i ordered 24mg and idk if that is going to be too much. I used to vape 16mg, i believe, but i feel like that was too little. 2. Would it be a good idea to try 6v vaping? what are the benefits and where can i buy 3v protected batteries? (if there are any).
Thanks!

Welcome, parkway! I think you should probably get some 18mg, then you can switch between the two strengths as you need or want to.

I suggest getting some HV atties if you want to try vaping at 6V. I'm rather partial to the 808 or 901 HV atties from IkenVape. You can buy 3V batteries from a variety of places; Super T Manufacturing, IkenVape, All-Battery.com, just to name a few. You'll probably be able to use 2 16340s. And you should probably buy a charger for those batteries, too!

3.7v is plenty for most people. With a 3.7v mod you will have access to the widest array of the LR attys and cartos which add heat and heat enhances hit. Try 16, try 24. but you may not need the 24. The 3.7 even with standard cartos should be hotter than the 510 was.

IMO I would never go 6v. If anything I would go VV if I wanted more heat and then you could use everything. 6v would limit what you could use quite a bit.
