Just signed up here, ive been vaping fro about 2 weeks now i think.... AND ITS WAAAAY BETTER than analogs!! lol ive been doing alot of research on this watched numerous youtube vids from dr vapor and grimmgreen . i started off with a KR808d-1 and i just recently made the switch to a joyetech EGO-T type-b so far its amazing way better than the pen style. If anyone else has or had one with any input about it good or bad please let me know so i know i made a good choice on a PV. Other than that if anyone is in PA and has Regular vape meets that would be Awsome!!

Welcome! Re the tanks and tank atomizers - some like them and some do not. But even if you don't like tanks, the batteries are nice 3.4v batteries with 5-click enable/disable and there's a whole world of other atomizers and cartomizers with 510 threading. I do recommend you buy some Boge cartomizers and learn to use them. Then use a cartomizer for cinnamons (eat plastic), and any clingy flavors you don't want in your atomizers. And if you ever have sudden atomizer problems you'll have a backup way to vape.

Welcome. I'm new to the boards too but I have been vaping for about 6 months now. I started the same way you did, 808 then to the ego-t. I was one of the ones that was not impressed with the tanks. As Dormouse suggested, I prefer using LR Boge cartomizers on my egos. But as everyone says, the best set up is the one that keeps you off the analogs.

My only other advice is be careful watching those youtube videos...there is some awesome information out there but if you are like me, you will find yourself wanting every new mod and accessory out there and it will start to hurt your bank account

Welcome and gratz on your kit. As stated your battery is compatible with all kinds of toys. If you don't like the tank system you can always try something else.

thnx for all the input im going to look into the carts for the ego!!, and about the "hurting your bank account" ......... yeah in the past week ive had a usps priority mail box at my door everyday this week....... lol just buying and tryin all sorts of vaping stuff from 10 five packs of cartomizers for the kr8 to about a total of 400 ml worth of diff flavored juice lol PCC's for both and backup atty's... now im broke......

Let's hope the stuff works for you then... But if not, hopefully it's not that long till next paycheck. Unless you happen to know someone with a collection who will let you demo their stuff it's likely to cost a bit figuring out exactly what you like.

Welcome to ECF, Arcticchill360. Congrats on the great setup, lots of possibilities with the eGo. I have been happy with mine so far, but when you get the itch for more, higher volts, VV, and there are lots of mods to choose from. CC companies love us LOL. Good luck

Congratulations! Excellent choice of PV! I wish there had been something like that when I started out.

When I was a kid, I always wanted just 'one' tattoo.. and when I finally got it I wanted 5 more...

I never got the 5 but that itch is the same as it has been with me and vaping... started with the e-cigs sold at my local mall and over a year later I'm devoid the cigarettes but with equivalent amounts spent on dozens of bottles of liquids, different atomizers and cartomizers, and finally just got my first VV with dual coil carto's... and not even a week since I'm already looking into a provari...

And even though I've wasted hundreds on finding what I enjoyed the most, I don't regret spending a single one of those dollars because 16 months ago was the last day I touched a cigarette...
