Hi all,

I've a casual smoker for 20 years and I seldom carry a pack of cigarettes except when I first started working.

Always wanted to quit but in vain.

I have not got myself a PV yet but very willing to invest in one good PV.

Seeing all the good reviews of Provari makes me want to get that but don't know whether it's a good idea to start with that.

As an IT guy, I've always make purchases that is "future" proof so that I need not upgrade often hence the thought of buying a Provari but getting one in my country is not an easy task.

After days of research and look around, I found out that my local suppliers carries LT Lambo and V.E.T which both are options if Provari is too difficult to get.

Any advice for a newbie like me?

P.S. I really like the taste of vanilla so most probably my first juice that I'll try is vanilla flavour

Provari'a and Lavatubes are great, but a little big for out and about and stealth vaping. So, whether you get one of them or not, you should also have something pocketable. You always need a back up PV anyway. You could start with any of the following solid PV's - KGO, E Power or for a variable voltage pocketable, a 650 mah EGO Twist.

A KGO and E Power and EGO are all basically the same and great to start with. The new EGO Twist is real nice and affordable. Clouds of Vapor sells them, and their Vanilla Cream flavor is very nice also. I haven't really tried any other vanillas out there but do like theirs, so thought I would mention it since you said you wanted a vanilla. Glad to see you found the forum!

That is also why I'm actually looking for good carrying cases as I always carry my laptop bag around (job requirement).

Is the V.E.T same size as the eGo-T VV? I'm kind of lazy to do constant maintenance so most probably op for carto; use and dispose.

Anything joytech is a good way to go and one 650batty will last u most of the day ,havent tryed cartos yet but love my tank although sum ppl get cursed with leaking problems

A KGO and E Power and EGO are all basically the same

Similar form factor, but the batteries in the E Power are replaceable and very inexpensive making it a very nice unit.

EDIT: EGO's are 3.4 V and KGO/E Power are 3.7 V.

Start with a EGO from gotvapes,esmokeclub,madvapes,or any others here on the forum that are praised so much and then when you get down pat you vaping style and your likes/dis-likes start to make the investment of a good pv or make one as i know there is plenty of info for the diy at heart on here

KGo, is a slightly more powerful version of the Ego. and at $45 for a starter kit, is seriously an awesome value.
It's been my first PV, and is a great starter.
I got mine at DarkCityVapors ... they delivered SUPER fast.

Hi Everyone,

I've decided to get myself a JoyeTech eGo-CE VV Twist Set from my local supplier.

For discrete sake, I bought a Janty Kuwako to try to disguise it as a pipe and hopefully don't get too much attention if needs a quick vape anywhere.

Thanks for all your views, recommendations and opinions which I have a lot more to learn.
