I just started vaping this past Thursday, but I've been reading about for a few weeks now. I really wanted to start straight off with a mech mod, but my buddy talked me into a VTR+Aerotank. Well, guess what... I haven't smoked a single cig. since Monday morning and I have absolutely zero desire to do so either! They actually smell quite horrible... In addition to many other things I just never really noticed before.
Anyhoo, I wasn't able to control the impulsive inner tech nerd and as such I've got a few parts on the way to the house as I'm writing this. If USPS doesn't suck it up I should be building my first coils sometime Friday evening. Will probably start off with the std. 8-10 wrap 28awg micro coil, but the hurricane and munday wont be far behind. ha! Got my Ti-83, a notepad, a pencil, and a super techy desire to build some badA coils!

Black HC nemmy clone w/ HC KFL+ ( in nano mode ) running my genuine AW IMR 185 with the Kick2
PS: I know that it is nearly impossible to build a coil that pushes the new batteries over their limits (i.e. VTC5, purple Efest, etc..). The reason I got the kick was because I really enjoy being able to set my watts to my taste after using the VTR and so it seemed like I would also like to have that capability on my mech. Also, for the sake of not ruining my batteries I figured it couldn't hurt to have something that would tell me when the batt is getting low.

I haven't yet pulled the trigger on my switch magnets to replace the "crunchy" spring that so many people seem to complain about. There are quite a few manufacturers and most of them say "our batteries are just like Atomoxi's (spelling?) but BETTER, cause we coat them" or something like that. Additionally, there are various sizes and honestly I just haven't spent enough time googlin/reading threads to determine the best magnetic replacement option for the switch yet.
And, finally, If anyone has made it this far. KUDOS! The Hybrid kit. If I'm using a kick is it even possible to use the hybrid connection parts. Also, most all of the descriptions say the fit or rather, were made for the KF3.1 and there are various threads/posts where people say they will fit any 510 connection as long as the pin is NOT recessed. Just a little bit confused on this one at the moment without having the NEM sitting in front of me.
