Hi folks,

I have recently upgraded from a basic electronic cigarette to one with a better quality clearomizer, this better quality piece of equipment is failing.

It worked well all day but now when I use a fully charged battery with it, the battery light flashes as if it is dead, although it know it is not dead due to the fact it works with my older style clearomizer. Any ideas as to why this might be happening after it worked perfectly fine all day until this evening?

First off, Welcome to ECF. Second, tell us what equipment you have specifically and someone will be able to give you an answer in short order.

Try loosening your clearomizer a little. I had that problem with an ismoka igo.

Check to see if your clearo to battery connection is clean and dry. Sometimes juice can leak down, and will cause your battery to "no go".

Cheers guys, I went to the shop today from where I made my purchase and when I attempted to demonstrate the issue, it began working perfectly again, felt rather stupid!

Using an iClear 16 clearomizer and it is now vaping beautifully.

At almost the same time as last night, I am plagued by the same problem after a full day of vaping pleasure. In the shop, I was told that the problem may have been to do with the connection between clearomizer and battery but if that's the case, why only intermittently and why so regularly so?

There is no leakage of juice into the battery and I have tried loosening the clearomizer with no success.

Onto my back up basic clearomizer which is not providing a sufficient hit compared with the new one

Sorry I don't think I can help with the clearo problem, but I think you need 15 posts before you can add your quit banner.

Hi!

Actually, your problem is not a mad as it seems. The iClear16 is an unusual fitting clearomiser and they are notoriously intermittent on some batteries.

(long story...) there is something about them which is unique. I'll find my box of them (in the loft) and see if it jogs my memory.

I was provided with no information from the establishment from where I made my purchase, I assumed it would be the same as the basic clearomizer I had been using before I experienced one with better vaping properties, although I am aware that the iClear 16 is still pretty much a basic model anyway!

I have a spare coil on me which I don't want to replace and get all covered in juice incase the problem is with the actual base of the clearomizer

Took the iclear16 back to the shop today and got a free replacement. Vaping like a dream once more.
