Hi folks

27 year pack a day smoker until I tried blu about a month ago. Like many others I am greatful for the product, but wish to upgrade my vaping experience. My main gripe with the blu is the horrible battery life. When looking for local shops today I came across the following webpage eGo CE4 Clearomizer Kit I spoke with the owner of the shop - and she is going to meet me in person and bring along her product line - allowing me to try before I buy. Nice person. Based on our conversation, she thought this might be the best option for me.

ANy thoughts regarding the quality/ price / overall experience of the product? Anything I should watch out for?

Thanks in advance.

I too bought the blu and prosmoke I went to the e-GO T and now I have the eGO Twist and I like this the best because you can change the voltage to fit you. I have trouble tasting flavors I smoked newports for 10years this is the best vapping experiance I've has so far but like everyone will tell you you have to do whats best for you but I would suggest the e-Go c twist I havent had any problems you might need a e-go T kit for backups but all the chargers for these are inter changable and the twist is just the battery no charger or kit for it. Hope appy vapping!

I am using the CE4+ V2 "clearomizer" with an eGo-C Twist battery myself. Tried the eGo-C tank system for a day before realizing it has to be kept upright to prevent leakage.

This is what my wife is doing ... Not pretty or always practical.

Others in this forum point out issues with the clearomizers - cracking, some come apart easily (we have seen this in 1 out of 4 so far).

Another problem with qa inconsistency we have noticed is with eliquid flavors. vanilla's seem good but banana and blueberry flavors seem very light - almost imperceptible so far.

I think a little educated trial & error is inevitable.

Happy vaping! Great to hear you have found such a customer oriented vendor!

Price is a bit high, you might want to give the folks over at altcig.com a call as well. For that price you could get a similar one and a some of the best juices out there. They are primarily a juice vendor, but they do have a nice starter kit. Plus they are also in Las Vegas so they might be able to do the same kind of meet and try deal (not sure though, but they are awesome to deal with). Tell them I sent ya!

The kit in question is a good step up from what you've been using. the ce4 clearomizer will hold more juice and the battery will last you almost all day if not all day.

The quality of the ce4's are good, my only complaints is sometimes they can trap condensation which will then end up in your mouth. The vendor will probably also tell you this, but you must tilt it occasionally to wet the wick inside. Otherwise you will end up with a burnt taste.

Many people use and like the kit they are suggesting. I don't think you could go wrong.

Edit: I didn't look at the price before. It is a bit high, but sometimes you get what you pay for in terms of service. Someone who is willing to meet you in person and explain things will have that kind of service built into their cost.

Moving up from the Blu is a good idea. It's one of the worst models on the market. In the same physical size and cost range as the eGo, there are several much better options. The eGo has the smallest voltage battery on the market at 3.4 volts. Even smaller than the the Blu. The higher the voltage of your PV, the warmer the vapor.

Instead, I would look at either the Kgo 510 or the E-Power 510. Both are 3.7 volt batteries. You should also consider the mAh rating of the battery. The higher the mAh rating, the longer the battery holds a charge. The standard eGo battery is only 650 mAh. They charge extra for higher mAh rated batteries. The Kgo and E-Power are both 1000+ mAh rated batteries, standard. Both the Kgo and E-Power are well supported here in ECF. Here are several well supported suppliers:

E-Power Replacable Battery kit!

Crystal Clear Vaping

And if saving money is important, the eGo batteries cost $15 - $20 each. The better E-Power batteries cost $4 - $5 each.

Good Luck

If you want another mini, go with a the volt from smokeless image. It's much cheaper than the blu, batteries last 3 times longer(about 3-4 hours)cartos last a long time and are easily refillable at least 15-20times. And their customer service is second to none

If you want something larger, get a kgo battery, a vivi nova 2.5 for home and a pack of bottom coil Phoenix cartomizers

I went the route of v2 sticks for several months have at least 6 of them that last about 3/4 hours. Everyone wants a cig look alike to begin with and as soon as they use it awhile it gets old fast. Constant charging -I had 3 chargers going at one time.Whatever you do go with at least 11/1300 mah on a batt that doesn't look like a mini cig. The cute light at the end looks too much like a real cig and not cool after awhile. You will always want to try the latest and greatest so prepare. Listen to those who have been around here awhile they have tried most everything. I upgraded to the kgo loved it and then the twist. You learn a lot during this process . Next step who knows things are changing so fast.

Quick follow up - The owner of the company spent about an hour and a half with me going through several different hardware setups and allowed me to sample some 20 flavors of juice. Really great and educational experience. We walked through equipment, cleaning, filling etc. Being my first upgrade from blu it was a huge help!! She did charge a bit more than some of the online vendors - but she delivers supplies in person!!! Very very cool experience. I ended up with 1100mah ego t battery and ce4 clearomizers. Bought vanilla bean and atomic cinnamon juice. Both very very nice. She even provided the correct clearomizer for the cinnamon juice and explained how some clearos will crack, and walked me through the chemistry of the different materials Full disclosure before I even had a chance to ask the question. Based on this I highly reccomend E-Cigarettes Las Vegas | Lifestlye Vapor E-Cigarette, E-Cigarette Liquid and Accessories Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City, Paradise Nevada
