Hi everyone. REEEEEEEEEAALLY new to this..

I have ventured into this UK forum on the advice of someone in the new member forum...

So guess what I did.. what I imagine most utterly uneducated newbies do, and that is.... bought a SkyCig starter pack!

2 days in, I had caned all the cartridges, but wait aren't they supposed to be the equivalent of 20 cigarettes each?

So yeah, went back on regular cigs or "analogues" as I have now discovered they're called for a couple days to tide me over until my "spare" starter pack and 10 cartridge refills arrived and yeah, I think I need to get something more economical on the go..

So I'm looking for something that is:

- Easy to manage
- Economical
- Good battery life
- Good throat hit
- Easy to carry around
- Doesn't make me look like something off star wars

I guess before my new cartridges run out again and I re-order (at this rate I will be spending more than I did on a pack a day) I'm just looking for some sound advice on what to go for.

I'm in the UK so I need to have a UK supplier. I just don't know what to look for as the little bit of research I've done has shown me an absolute plethora of options but at least I found you guys, who I'm sure can help me out..

Really sorry if I'm covering old ground.

Thanks
JC

Hi JC.

Firstly, you can refill your skycig cartomisers with juice from any of the good UK suppliers. here is a list of them (with any known discount codes) -

ALL ABOUT E-CIGARETTES UK - Recommended & new suppliers (e-cig/juice sellers)

Secondly, to get good battery life etc, you need something larger than a ciggy sized e-cig. So yes, ego/Riva's are so much better all round & an 110mah battery should last you at least all day before needing to be recharged. This kit was made up by a supplier after he kindly consulted members of AAE-C UK about what would be an ideal starter kit at the lowest price he could do. All you need to go with it is e-liquid of your choice. Use discount code ECF10 for 10% off -

No, you are right, it is smaller due to the batteries being 650 mAh rather than 1100 mAh. If you do go for that one from Liberty Flights, use discount code ECR69 for 10% off.

The one I linked to is better value though as you not only get 5 cartomisers but also an Ego Vision with the kit.

cheers Chrissie, would you mind telling me what that is? Is that beneficial? Thanks

The ego vision is a large clearomiser - ie works in a similar way to cartomisers, but there is no wadding inside it. They hold 1.6 ml of e-liquid, are really easy to fill & easy to see when they need refilling. They also last about 4 times longer than a cartomiser before wimping out. You can also easily clean them if you want to use a really different flavoured juice in them. Most place sell them individually for about £4.99 - hence why it makes the vape escape kit extra good value to have one included, & they also include a drip tip to use with the 5 cartomisers.
