Well after lurking around the forum for awhile and sucking in as much info as possible (research). I ordered my first e-cig, keep in mind that I live in Vancouver B.C. and I tried for a long time to find a supplier out here that wouldn't take weeks, that I didn't have to worry about my order being seized at the border or paying tons of duty etc.

I finally found a small supplier on Vancouver Island that carried the 510 so I bought it :)

I bought the TopRol 510 starter pack, an extra battery, 10 cartomizers, 10 carts, and 2 bottles of juice (different strengths)

I like it, I think, I'm still fiddling with strengths and finding what works best for me but having it for 2 days I can honestly say I have only started smoking an analog twice and put it out after a few puffs.

I really enjoy not smelling like smoke and my husband has definately kissed me more as well lol!

I am however really freaked out that I am gonna burn my atomizer out though as it gets pretty hot as apposed to the Cartomizer that doesn't get nearly as hot. I have watched lots of you tube vids on how to smoke the e-cig as apposed to the analog, which is pretty similar to me anyways cause thats how I used to smoke.

So far so good, I do like dripping so far the best for sitting at home and the Cartomizers are better for being out and about :)

Welcome home, you will finds tons of great folks on this site who will help you through thick and thin.

Try and not overvape that atty if it gets too hot give it a rest. Also when you're dripping don't let it dry out, that effects life as well. If you flood it just blow it out and it should be fine. It takes a bit to get the hang of it, but dripping is great and like you said, cartomizers are nice for going out and about.

Thanks, I'm pretty stoked as I have tried the patch, the gum, cold turkey etc. and I usually end up getting major anxiety over the whole process but it is much less this time and I have eliminated all the stuff I hated about smoking, lighters, ashtrays, not hugging and kissing loved ones cause they always tell you that you smell etc.
I am not too happy with the flavour but it is growing on me a bit, I am just trying to find more local suppliers that carry other flavours :)

Most of my apprehension is that I am located in Canada and legally we are not allowed to import e-cig stuff from the USA, there are horror stories about confiscated orders, major duty being paid etc. sounds dumb but I just don't want to get in trouble or pay for something that doesn't get delivered!

Welcome, from another ex-lurking newbie. :D

I still can't wrap my head around all the governmental paranoia (US, Canada et al) over ecigs. Pure stupidity.

No kidding, when I first started looking at the e-cig all I could find was greensmoke and another one that didn't state the model number, but after probing around and finding this forum I have found more info etc about what is good and what is not, also I just discovered the canadian forum on this site, this is fab as there are more internet sites and suppliers there that are closer to me! Totally stoked, already ordered more e-juice lol!
