Hi from excited, new convert

Hi,
My local paper ran a feature on e-cigs and got me intrigued.

I did some research on the interweb, found these forums and placed an order on Saturday for the Vapor 4 Life kit and some extras cartomizers and batteries.
It was here when I got home this evening!!! Such incredibly fast shipping and some fun extra goodies thrown in Thank you, Steve!

I plugged the USB thingy in first thing and had my first vape (Cola) ever! Well,
I was totally amazed by the entire feeling and can really see how this is going to be my path to freedom from analogs!!!

I had ordered the highest strength, and it's a bit too strong. That is probably a common mistake for newbies.
I've just ordered some various lighter carts...looking for my sweet spot.

Can't believe that this could really, finally be it...adios analogs.

I have smoked for easily 30 years...averaging lately 1/2 pack a day. Sometimes I was up to a pack.
I'm feeling so excited and hopeful!

I smoked longer than you and have been analog free for many months.
Never went back to them.

Did you quit analogs at once, or ease into it?
I've had 1 analog since I got started today...would normally have had 3-4 by now. I've always been an evening/night smoker.
Just vaped on a coffee...after dinner...in the house... AMAZING!!!

Welcome Tracy! You are one of the lucky few who found the right one right off the bat! lol I spent over $400 on two other brands that are now gathering dust! The 510 was ok, good enough to get me off the analogs, but I just got my VK yesterday and WOW! It blew me away and I am in vape heaven!

For me, once I got my 510, I was smoking maybe 3-4 cigs a day. Down from a pack a day so not too shabby. I had 4 packs left and figured I would at least smoke them. After 2 weeks I ended up tossing the smokes, I really didn't want them so why bother. I have been smoke free for almost 3 weeks now! And best of all - with no effort on my part! For the first time in my life, I don't even miss smoking.

took me about a week to totally quit. I think because I was using too low of a nic level for my juice/carts. I bumped the juice a little and bam totally stopped. FYI smoked 1-2 packs a day lights. Originally got 11mg carts, bumped it to 18mg and I was all set. Got a 24mg of one juice just incase but the 18 is perfect for me. There is some trial and error at first when selecting the proper nic level as each person will have different needs. But trust me after a week of vaping you will have no desire to go back to analog and if you decide to try one like i did to see if vaping is effective you wont get past one or 2 drags. As for flavors, again its personal but, my favs #1 is peach, then no order coffee, grape, menthol

You are so welcome, it is our mission to help people Vape, Thank you for the kind words. I remember when I started with the Njoy pen style which I bought for 140 buck, and 5 buck a cart. It had no vapor, and no liquid, but, it helped keep me inside in the winter. Then when I got serious I found Leaford, on youtube, and this forum. Wow, what a difference.

I had been smoking for 40 years, was trading S&P futures and smoking 4-6
packs of Kools a day. Between the asthma meds, and cigs, I spent over 1500 month....this is the BEST investment I have EVER made.

After spending about 6K on buying and trying every ecig people talked about, on this forum, and going nutz with juice, and all the ancillary stuff, I discovered the first King. I been making it better ever since. There are many 2 peice designs, but, NONE better, or this King, would be dethroned.

I still buy evrey new design I read about.

We gonna have some fun togetherYou have a fabulous attittude, and I want to vape with you sometime, over a few cocktails

I thought I was a heavy smoker at 3 packs a day. I have never heard of anybody smoking 4-6 packs a day.

We both should be glad we switched to ecigs because we both were headed for some serious medical problems.

You should buy yourself a new house or maybe a mercedes.

Jen, I do feel lucky that I started with the VK-it really is due to the people on this forum.

Steve, what an amazing and encouraging story. I would love to have a vape-together over cocktails someday! We are fortunate to have you doing all the research for us and constantly coming out with new products and flavors.

Brian, I hope your products arrive soon!

Today was my first full vaping day. I feel like a kid...batteries in various stages of charge, different flavored carts, scattered about. Having a ball trying out various flavors!

Started with coffee this am, grape a few times during the day (awesome by the way...never thought I would like the fruity ones)
Now this evening, I put a Marlboro on the usb thingy and poured a glass of wine!
This will be a great test as normally I smoked more analogs with cocktails.
So far today, only two...simply amazing!!!

Congrats Tracy! If you are like me, after a couple weeks of cutting back you will find you no longer even WANT an analog! Almost 3 weeks for me now - I am free of the devil cigs! YAY!
