Hey everyone,

I'm Neil from Scotland (you can call me NeilfromScotland if it tickles your fancy). I've been vaping for about a month now and I've been a member here for a couple of weeks. Thanks to this forum, I've learned a lot about ohm's law, battery safety, coil building and all that good stuff. By day I'm a mechanical engineer and by night I'm a cloud puffing super hero. My special super hero power is to blow clouds at people and make them confess their sins. Or get naked. Sometimes my powers get mixed up and things get a little embarrassing.

I started with a VV twist and a mini Protank II setup, moved to a Vamo and Aerotank Mega and then fell down the rabbit hole completely. I currently run a couple of clone mechs + RDAs but I'm soon going to treat myself to some quality originals now that I know for sure that RDAs and mechs suit me. I'm a sub-ohmer, currently vaping on a pair of dual twisted coils at 0.4ohms. I also have a pair of parallel coils on my other device at 0.25 and that's as low as I intend to go. I enjoy big clouds but I'm not interested in going super sub-ohm and doing stunt vaping.

Looking forward to some good chat with you guys!

Welcome, Neil from Scotland!

Wow! Your learning curve was non-existent! I'm sure that your engineering background helped a good deal. :)

Things have changed so much since I first started vaping over four years ago. You're a lucky man to have so many choices at your disposal so early in the game.

It's nice to meet you!

Welcome and congratulations, Neil from Scotland! :) AND, I second Pheisty second post.

Pleisty, if you like the Diana Gabaldon books, the first one, "The Outlander", has been made into a 16 part series for the Starz cable channel. The first of the series to be aired this coming Sat. Should get plenty of that Scotish accent. :p

Yeah I'm fairly good with my hands. I've still got a long way to go in terms of building my coil-making skills but my current coils aren't too shabby. I really enjoy tinkering which I think I love most about rebuildables. It's just so much fun!
