Thanks again for the wealth of information, as of now I have the aegis mini and a eleaf mini plus Vuse alto pods
This go around I started with the Vuse alto and I liked them somewhat if I did not draw on them too hard. but I found out quick if I tried to only use the alto only and no cigs at all I would end up burning up the pods causing them to taste burnt and nasty. So I purchased a second Vuse Alto setup and would switch from one to the other
trying to maintain my normal nicotine level without burning up the pods with no success. But using the twin Vuse Altos I was able to back down my cigarette consumption down to about 7 per day before burning up pods again.
So I went to my local vape shop and got poor advice about getting a eleaf mini with a Nautilus mini which the vendor setup for me and primed and loaded the nautilus with ejuice.
I tried out the new setup and to me it tasted burnt and nasty but I figured I would tweek the settings and give it a try. but the more I used it the worse these was.
Turned out the guy did not prime the Nautilus correctly causing me to burn out the first coil.
so the next day I purchased a pack of coils primed the coils correctly to give it another shot.
however the taste still was not right. after breaking out my glasses and magnifying glass I found out the ejuice he sold me was expired.
not to mention nothing I did would get rid of the cracking and spitting of ejuice which would allow raw wet ejuice to get in my mouth.
I did get some 50-50 ejuice for the nautilus which calmed down the cracking and spitting but the nic level was too strong causing too harsh of hits. ( so I am waiting to get lower nic level ejuice for the nautilus.
Desperate to get something local and fast that would work I purchased the Aegis Mini and purchased another bottle of ejuice that was not expired which is what I am using now with 12MG ejuice which I have been told
is too strong for a sub OHM tank.
As of now with the Aegis if I run it about 30 watts it works OK if I hit the fire button and blow into the tank to clear out the flooded tank. then i can get 4 to five hits before hearing the crackling and getting raw ejuice in my mouth.
I am disabled on a limited budget which I blew through quickly with all this, I have to wait to buy anything else.
not to mention I am way over dosed on nicotine and struggling between smoking too many cigarettes and trying to dial in any of my systems get something that I know will not work they way I need it to until I spend more cash.
The worse part I can get the Aegis working somewhat for awhile but once I change anything like filling the tank or charging the battery it changes everything making me to have to experiment with the Watts until I get it working decent again but by the time I am there I am so Overdosed on nicotine I get turned off on the whole mess.
For now I think I will just smoke my cigs until I can buy better equipment. or try the lower nic level ejuice for my Aegis.
