I just picked up a GTTB off the forums and have a question.

Let me first let me describe the things I am impressed with. This device feels good in my hand, It feels solid. In other words, if I shake it a bit I don't feel a rattle inside. I like the switch, its set up for pinky operation which I didn't think I would like too much. It has just the right amount of button resistance, I love it! The switch lock is very nice as well. I like that it has some weight to it, it feels like a fine instrument as opposed to hobby grade stuff. Mine is the matte finish which is very nice(which it should be for a higher end device).

Okay, now where I am coming from. I have been using a VV device for nearly the past year. I truly believe VV is the way to go and am looking at the GG VV for a future device. I'm not exactly throwing away my old PV, it has been a workhorse and it is still my primary device.

Where I'm at, the seller shipped a couple of AW 17670 1600 mah batts with it. 3.7 volts isn't really my thing. Therefore, I ran out and bought a couple of Tenergy RCR123As. Either way I'm getting decent vapor, but it isn't quite right. At 3.7 the draws are a bit too long, the vapor is too cool. At 6 volts the vapor is too hot, it doesn't taste quite right. I want my porridge to be just right, hehe.

The cartos I'm using ohm out at 3.3. I've been buying them at my local vape shop and have been satisfied with them. I have a 901 and 510 headcap(I prefer 510) and I am willing to buy a few things if needed.

Finally, on to the question. How do I get what I want? Should I buy some different batteries or cartos? Maybe I should get used to one or the other(I doubt it will happen). I have trouble deciding which one I like better at this point. I only use one type of juice and I am not going to change that. This might belong in the new members forum but I feel quite experienced, I figure you guys wouldn't mind giving advice.

Keep on vapin!

I have tried LR attys at 3.7. It has been a while though. I walked away from atties back when I first started vaping. My main problem is sooner or later no matter what method I'm using, I get an extreme burnt taste. I'm willing to jump through all kinds of hoops to avoid this. I'm a carto man. It provides a buffer from that burnt taste. I must add that I am pretty much a chain vapor. I just hooked up a LR atty and drip tip to check it out. After a couple of full draws the atty and drip tip are scorching hot. The vapor during those two draws are close to what I am looking for but are short lived. I need something else.

The IAtty, I couldn't agree with you more. The main problem is they went on sale while I was at work, my notice of availability went unnoticed until I got home. By then they were all sold out. I was quite disappointed as I thought I had another week or two until I had to bird dog my email in hopes of getting one.

Anyways unless you have one you want to sell me(I'll pay retail price) That is neither here nor there.

Any other suggestions?

The false/telescoping battery should be included when you buy a GGTB.
You can use 17650/17670 or 14650 without the false battery. I use IMR batteries and haven't got 17650's yet, so i use 14650 with no problem.

Thanks but Greek site doesn't include the false batt when purchase of Ggtb. I only got 14500 and wonder if it can be use, but I guess not. Thanks for all the info.

That sucks!!
A GGTB without a Telescoping Battery is not a GGTB in my opinion. After all, the Telescoping Battery is how the GGTB got its name!
We have also just learnt that the french GG seller only includes one rethreader with GGTS, instead of the two that everybody else includes.
I wish Imeo would make sure that a GG is a GG is a GG. no matter where you buy it.

i'm not sure if every reseller do the same but maybe they have their reason for it? but still i'm hoping it is standard for everything to be same. For the price and what should be included.

I dont have false batteries and I said to the Greek seller geraki to inform all people about this. I am sure he did this with every GGTB sale. Geraki has only a few GGTB for sale and if someone doesnt want to buy it without the faulse battery its ok. The only I want is that opeople are informed about anything so they can deside what they want to do.

no worries imeo, gerakio did mention he does not have false battery and he even offer to help me find one as he himself is looking for one. :) very kind of him to do that.
