Hi guys! I'm new and have a few questions.

I'm Thandrend, and I have a few questions.

By no means am I a veteran electronic cigarette user. I got my current electronic cigarette from my mother-in-law as a birthday gift. She bought me a Smoke51 Duo, and I understand they are hardly the greatest in the industry, but I have to make due with what I have for now.

My first question is--What is a compatible filler cartridge for it? I want to use "e-juice," as I have heard that it is cheaper and provides greater results with flavor, draw, etc.

What would be a good juice to use with a flavor similar to a Marlboro Special Blend "Red", Marlboro Medium or a Camel Turkish Royal?

If anybody could be of any assistance, I would greatly appreciate it!

i am not familiar with that brand, i hope someone comes along soon that can help you. backwoods brew is a juice vendor that seems to be a favorite among the folks who lean towards tobacco flavors that's about all the help i can offer, i'm sure someone else can cover your questions about the Smoke51 Duo.

A quick look on google reveals your model is likely this: Fifty-One DUO

They seem to use cartomizers. Start saving up the little silicone plastic tips on both ends (might only be on one) that come with these, you can use them to refill them with the liquids you've ordered from BWB.

Using the 'condom method' fill the little plastic cups to nearly full, then slowly place the threaded battery end of your cartomizer into the plastic cup. This should see the cartomizers suck up the juice and start the refill process. You need to go slow and steady with it and leave them a little while to suck up the juice. Depending how big they are and how much the cups hold, you might need to do it more then once to completely refill.

Looks like you got pointed in the right direction for some good juice, cuz yeah - the stuff they preload the Fifty-One with is um... Well, I don't think I can use those words here.

The carto's come with caps on both ends, so you should have a decent supply of those available for condom method refilling.

Another option is to use something like a pushpin and pop the top off by putting it into the hole (where you draw air & vapor thru ) and gently pry it off. There will be 2 pieces - the hard plastic piece and a softer silicone one under it. keep them together so you don't get either upside down. Looking inside, you can see where the fiber fill is - either drip juice in there, or inject the fiber using a syringe. Pop the top back on and you're done.

Remember - odds are that the fiber is not completely dry so there will be some carry-over from the previous flavor/juice.

This is just an option - personally, I think the condom method is quicker and easier. Just be sure to wipe everything down well with a paper towel when you're done.

Even with good juice, refilling existing cartos will still have that plastic taste. I think it's the juice they use. The best trick I found with the Smoke51s is covering one of the two tiny airholes where the battery meets the carto with your finger when you vape. Take a long, slow draw with your finger over one of the holes and you'll get a warmer, harder-hitting experience. Cupping your hand over the lighted end helps too. It's does list bloog on it. I would for sure research on here to make sure someone has actually tried bloog cartomizers on smoke51 duo before purchasing. Threading can be tricky. But if you find it does fit, Smokeless Image Volt cartomizers are the same as bloog and are less expensive with cheaper shipping.

I was wondering if pryer to you receiving the E-cig as a gift if you were in fact in the market to buy an e-cig yourself ? Or was the e-cig a total surprise gift and you were not in the market to quit smoking before receiving it. Had you ever tried E-cigs before receiving one as a gift. Reason I am asking is because my Mother wants to buy one for my Bro and his wife who both smoke. But she doesn't want to offend or push. She has high hopes because it was successful for me but on the other hand, I was wanting to try them. He has shown no interest but he is not around anyone where he can try one. Just curious as to how that all went down for you and if it was a surprise what you reaction was.
