Ive tried everything but all it keeps showing low resistance an when i tried another tank it shows shortage! But when i take tank off it says check atomizer like usual!
Im unsure of what to do can i get some help or advice of what to do?
First off - welcome to ECF! You’re at the right place to get the help you need.
I have a Kaos Spectrum that’s over 3 years old (I’m vaping with it now) and I’d be glad to help if I can. Definitely need more info though.
Besides the good questions posted by
@Hawise:
- What is the coil resistance in your tank?
- What is the power setting and power level on the Kaos?
- Is it a new coil?
- Did the tank work before on the Kaos, then suddenly showed the error?
@Letitia is right about checking for a resistance problem. The Spectrum resistance range is 0.1 to 3.0 ohms. Your power setting has to be in the right range for the resistance of your coil.
Besides checking for a stuck 510 pin, you can dip a q-tip in isopropyl alcohol and clean out the 510 connector on the Kaos. Leaked juice in there will mess up the connection, and so will any dirt trapped in the threads. Then use alcohol to clean the threading on your tank.
Here’s a link that gives you things to try for a low resistance and short message. According to this, batteries are a likely culprit. Since 2 tanks gave you different errors, it could be a problem with your batteries.
