Hi Guys, after lurking around for a while decided to create an account an become a bit more interactive and hopefully contribute as well at some point in time.

I've been vaping for about 4 years but until recently still smoked on occasion. After having used an ego type set-up for all those years I have upgraded my gear and am now exploring the realms of rebuildables and mods. My current set-up:

- iStick Pico
- Drop Solo RDA
- Hadaly RDA
- Spinner 2 with nautilus Mini for on-the-go

The difference with the ego set-up is night and day, I've been missing out all those years!

Also started making my own ejuice which is the main reason for joining ECF. Lots of info here and am especially interested in the tobacco flavored side of things. Started trying out some tobacco extractions and results are promising, not to mention the cost savings which are huge compared to buying ready made!

Hi and welcome aboard. In the land of vaping there is no bad time to start DIY (in my opinion) but for sure in these fraught days of vaping, DIY now is a FANTASTIC idea.

Welcome and glad you joined.
You should do well. I feel that the Tobacco category, is perhaps, the best overall category where good DIY results are more than likely attainable. Good choice ("tobacco flavored side of things").

LOL, until now I´ve mostly vaped retail juice. BWB, W2V, GeJ were some of my favorites in the early days, GeJ´s Vita Bella and Fire Cured are staples in my book. Then I discovered WTA, started mixing unflavored WTA into retail juice at first but finally settled with the ready made WTA juices from AromaEjuice. Living in the EU however means that shipping/duties/vat are a PITA so I've now decided to make my own juice, mixing it with the unflavored WTA I still have around.

The extractions I have running at the moment are pipe tobaccos, Dunhill Nightcap, Samuel Gawith St. James Flake and a few others. There´s a post in the thread that basically got me to sign up to ECF: Tobacco extraction using heated Ethanol. I'm currently mixing a sample from one of the cold PG extractions I also have going, Davidoff Malawi. It's a coil killer but very tasty

I plan to add flavoring to some of those extracts so your suggestion is very much welcomed, thanks!
